Burnt Kinrigoth awoke with a start. The first night of the new year would be the one to herald a nightmare, wouldn't it? Thinking back to her dream, she remembered a flow of magma, and a shadowy dwarf directing it, with another, indistinct dwarf hovering behind it, whispering instructions. Both dwarves seemed sort of familiar, but it was too early in the morning for too much of that, and so she headed off to the Dining rooms for the first of her drinking and chatting sessions with the rest of the Fort.
