We've made so much progress towards Liberalizing the masses, freeing the populace from their yokes and chains.
And I understand the Nightmare has been in existence for much longer than the Liberal Crime Squad, that the government has had considerable time to cultivate and develop its army.
But how many people do they control, Brother? Not just in Boston, not only in Massachusetts, but in all of America itself. Could you, sitting at the foot of the Lady of Liberalism herself, spare some time to enlighten me?
Yet do the numbers even matter? Because, whatever their numbers, I'm sure they're enough to overwhelm us. We're the Dozen Liberal Legion, not the Legion Liberal Legion. We've all been undergoing immense combat training since the first siege, but there's no way we should be able to defeat so many Conservatives skilled in warfare. And I KNOW they're skilled in warfare because the Corporate Machine keeps them fighting to further their profits. So they aren't just sending heartful volunteers at the National Guard at us; they're sending trained killers.
I may be the greatest Living Liberal, but I am no trained killer. Neither were any of the recruits. We didn't know the first thing about tactical combat, about proper traps, about handling intense, immense firefights. Yet, time and time again, with minimal damage, we've managed to crush the attackers.
Why don't they bomb us, Comrade? When they brought the jets, they just did a fly-by. Are they so concerned over a media disaster, over the revolution which could spawn from turning us all into mulch and goo? Haven't they realized allowing us continued successes, merely allowing us to survive advances the Cause by leaps and bounds? We are the greatest threat to the American Nightmare, and they regard us as unintelligent, incapable hobos and vagabonds.
I'm sure you recall, but I remind you we actually waited, sealed within our bunker, believing the Conservatives would attempt to flatten us with their super-powered weapons of destruction. We had purchased rations to last us a month; we ended up only eating a day's worth before realizing the Conservatves were using no different tactics.
Much to their regret, I'm sure.
But, I must admit, we did not fare so well during that siege...
While continuing the process of finding and slaughtering the automatons who had carelessly stumbled into our traps, we took notice of a nearby Squad of soldiers who had not been so careless. We shuffled the ranks of
Revenge, moving Kathy and the tongueless Hugo into the back in order to bring up Rachelle and Juan... no, excuse me,
fergy (he insisted on being known to us by his Corpnet alias). After our preparations, we charged into battle.
Focus fire ended dear Issac's life. Though his last words still confuse me, I will nevertheless miss him.
After the battle, a wounded (yet exhilarated) fergy came to me and requested Issac's position in
Revenge. He told me personal combat was not unlike hacking, and he wished for more experience. So I promoted him. His exuberance demonstrated itself through the party he organized, one which I spent little time attending. Instead, I - as you did - compiled an Opinion Poll.
Public interest had waned since we hid ourselves within Vance Health Insurance, but results demonstrated the people remained Elite Liberal on many issues within our country. Still, the countless sieges and their bloodshed had taken their toll, not just on the Cause, but on me. I needed a break.
I needed a walk in the park.
I kept to myself during my excursion, though I would have had difficulty pursuing meaningful conversations; The army insignia on my armor (or my mutations) granted me both respect and distance. So I casually strolled among the trees, my mind reflecting on our progress towards eventual peace...

I gave him the Liberal Funds to purchase a fine-crafted sword and suit of Mithril Mail. When I questioned him of his armor decision, he spoke of glory, honor, and how the tales never spoke of you wearing protective gear. You blazed into combat, despite the risk, and he wanted to do the same.
So I allowed him to fill his desire by venturing forth to the Latte Stand, the place where you began your fight against the Evil Menace.
I heard he made quite the impression.
His conversational techniques were cutting edge.
The Conservatives had never seen such an affable, charismatic Liberal.
The sight made their heads spin.
Alas, my sources tell me the young man had tried too much, too hard, too fast. Rather than attempt to escape, he who followed your name and inspired to emulate your legacy rose his blade against the solitary DS Officer in pursuit of him.

Conservative media says Eliah Mann attempted to flee, hobbling at first and later crawling away from his foe, begging and pleading for mercy, before the Officer executed him. But my sources say - and I know - different. jasonred79, so devoted to your memory, would have never run, no matter his incapacitation, no matter the blood loss. He may have sought to pursue a different angle of attack, hoping to lure the Officer into a trap, lost his sense of mobility and fallen easy prey... but he wouldn't have given up. Not like that. No way, no how.
The sullying of his memory and sacrifice infuriates me, as I'm sure it enrages you. Rest assured, Brother, that we of the Cause will never allow our Martyrs to be forgotten or their sacrifices to be in vain. We will succeed.
To commemorate our collective anger regarding the death of jasonred79, we made sure to introduce a new wave of moronic Conservatives to death.
We shattered any illusion, any belief they had of obtaining victory, despite our wounds and our inexperience. But that leads me again to the beginning of this entry: How many people does the Conservative Machine control, Grimith? And how, in Lady Liberalism's name, have they survived for so long given their poor intelligence and inability to adapt to combat situations?
If we had continued to remain in our pinpointed residence, would they have gotten weary of such ritual sacrifices and employed the bombs in their jets? Or would they have drained their manpower until they had no one left to service the Machine, no one but themselves?
We decided not to pursue the answer. Why? We created the biggest media disaster in American history for the government. Bigger than the
Alien and Sedition Acts. Bigger than
Vietnam. Local and state government, with the explicit approval and support of D.C., had sent so many to the slaughter within our complex, numbers they couldn't hide from the press. And what did they have for their efforts? Issac's life and Hugo's tongue? Brother, what we created wasn't just a disaster; it was a cataclysm. So, after that final siege, when we all gathered and consulted one another within our bunker, we realized our need to sneak out of Vance Health Insurance and return to the Croft Apartments. After all, how long did we really have before the federal government snapped its fingers and obliterated the entire industrial sector just to end our threat?
After the relocation, I searched our records and compared numbers. From the siege on September 12 to the siege on October 7, we had killed 81 Conservatives while losing only 2 Liberals. Such an obscene casualty toll would not, could not have gone on for very long before we were all dealt brutal deaths... right? Or are the Confederate forces near-infinite, spawned - not born - from vats lubricated with the wealth of oil and the power of wealth? Have you forgotten my query, Grimith? Will you not share this one tidbit of knowledge with your friend?

Eight days after our relocation, the government made a big showing of raiding the empty Vance Health Insurance. They had already known we left, so they used the opportunity to discredit the Cause through extensive propaganda. Dozens of filled body bags were carted out of the complex, not containing us, but I'm sure containing other political adversaries who had been seized and carted to the building for execution. They showed terrorist paraphernalia to the media, pamphlets and documents illustrating how we were in league with Central America to overthrow the United States and immerse it within hedonistic anarchy. The heartless bastards did an excellent job spinning the story to dull what previously had been a media catastrophe for them. In fact, after we had analyzed what had been published in the newspapers, we found only one fault line in the entire cover-up:
The Liberal Crime Squad still existed.
We thought that was a huge damn fault line, though, and Lenny Skinner, the newest member of the Dozen Liberal Legion, wholeheartedly agreed. While he got to work hacking into Corpnet, I resolved to use

The Police Gang Units, really just DS Officers in disguise (forced into said disguise by recent changes in law), couldn't keep up with the Liberal Crime Squad. We all made it back, soon and safe, to the Croft Apartments without being traced.
And we rode the cover-up loophole long and hard.
And, this morning, having just distributed M16s to the members of
Revenge, I assure you we plan on continuing to do so. Until the Conservative Nightmare ends or they make an even bigger mistake... which, for both cases, seems highly likely.
