Yeah, I wish you had fought on instead of trying to run away at the end. Oh well...

oh and try shouting slogans when you have gained enough notoriety, they'll back off most of the time.

Nice vids. Can't wait for the narrative. And the mithril mail is supposed to be as effective as it would be in real life, crappy, according to the wiki, which is probably out of date.

The mithril mail is in effective as it would be in real life. Silver painted paper mithril mail, that is.

Yeah, but either way, it is the worst armor in the game.

Yeah, I wish you had fought on instead of trying to run away at the end. Oh well...

Considering how badly injured your avatar had been, an attack attempt would have rewarded me with some sort of cough/cry/prayer. Granted, with three agility and a missing leg, I would have needed a miracle to escape the DS Officer. But I didn't have a give up option, didn't know how much you'd appreciate the "fuck this, sacrifice" thing I did with my founder, and... well... I just wanted to see if the RNG would grant me divine intervention. I encourage you to remember the event differently, though; that your avatar, realizing a frontal assault could not work, attempted to confuse the officer by hobbling away despite a missing blade... then, at the best moment, your avatar, although mortally wounded, would land a killing blow! I'm certainly not going to give him a wimpy death in the narrative.

Alternatively, you can start recording your own videos and create your own sacrificial adventure. =P

oh and try shouting slogans when you have gained enough notoriety, they'll back off most of the time.

Well... you can't shout your slogan at Conservatives during the flee-from-scene screen. Providing I could have, though, I wouldn't have. More fun to do the 1v1.

Mithril Mail Hatin'

Well, what was I supposed to do? Not fulfill his request? The man wanted armor on his avatar; I didn't want to give him a Black Suit. Your statements considering the ineffectiveness of mithril mail in modern times fail to acknowledge I did as he asked. I have no regrets. =P

-EDIT: Due to zero people protesting in favor of Dailymotion, I've completely scratched it off the update list. All previous LCS videos have been uploaded to YouTube (although not in the best of shape; that'll require some work). Later today, after I get some sleep - I was up a while editing all these things and copy-pasting text and whatnot - I'll go through all the update posts and switch out the Dailymotion links for the YouTube ones.

The narrative will be up late tonight, perhaps even in the wee hours of Monday morning.

-EDIT2: Yeeeah... not happening. Got swamped with other obligations and I'm just too burnt out right now to write a good narrative. Don't expect another LCS update until late night Tuesday, Eastern U.S. Time. Until then, I think you folks can handle yourselves. Feel free (as you should have from the start, without my prodding) to leave comments and such on both this topic and my YouTube pages regarding your thoughts/opinions/queries/suggestions.

(Since I told you all not to expect this update until Tuesday, you should be thoroughly surprised by said update. Huzzah for time and motivation!)

"I know your name, Kurt Ross."

My walk ended. My eyebrow lifted. I expressed no shock, for I had become well known in Annals of Conservative Lore. I expressed no fear, for any Arch-Conservative who recognized me would have shot (or fled) on sight. Instead, I looked him square in the face and said:

"In the name of the war on terror, we've sacrificed our soul by letting the government torture and abuse human beings on our behalf."

He thoughtfully reflected, his eyes, so young and vibrant, boring into mine before replying:

"That *is* disturbing! What can I do?"
Amazing. This has to be the LCS equivalent of "I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air'", except actually funny.

Haven't watched the videos, yet :-\ chuffing literature review... why did I have to go and say that I would read Jacques bloody Lacan!?

It was a trap! I've seen many traps in my day, so I'm speaking from experience.

At any rate, the videos aren't going anywhere - in fact, they've already been online for several days, so longevity's totally confirmed. Take your time, folks. Just make sure you don't get backlogged. =P

This 100th Reply Brought To You By:

I burned 224 flags.

The red lines in the first picture are from the screen sharing box I had open through Skype; I thought the box had been big enough to avoid seeing lines, but oh well.

If you hadn't figured out by now, I recorded some video footage (over an hour's worth) with a special guest commentator who does some LPing of his own. It'll be a while before I upload the vids, but rest assured that, with such insanity like BURNING TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR FLAGS, you'll be laughing before it's all said and done.

Yeah... those teenage girls nowadays are looking more and more mature. Jailbait...
Oh, wait, those weren't the traps you were talking about?

Oh, BTW, related to one of your videos... I think that Cover Fire is related to how much juice the LCSer has.  Seems to be how it works, from my playing experience anyway.
