Suggestion: "indoor plants" as furniture

Required: Bucket (small plants) / Bin (dug out trees)
Use: Furniture. Deconstructing tree bin yields log.

Who?
Herbalist digs out the plant
or: Workshop (something like a "create flowerpot" task)

? "Give Water" task once per season (to keep first aid dwarves occupied *g*)
? Some biomes could have meat eating plants that eat flies/vermin and careless pets

Actually I like it. Especially the carnivorous plants idea. It's a nice new kind of trap. Maybe they should be a bit rare though. I do have one issue, which is that plants usually need sunlight and caves are notable for their lack of this key commodity.

Actually, it should be saplings that are placed in bins as they're much more managable in size then a fully-grown tree. Then, once they mature into a fully-grown tree, they become stuck in place, making their immediate placement [before such] a good idea. [Watering the plant shouldn't be necessary if there's fresh water below; making indoor plumbing a good idea.]

Obviously only placeable in or in the immediate tile next to "Outside" and "Light" tiles.
But yes, potted plants would be awsome, made even more awsome when suspended by chains and ropes from a ceiling.

Heck, you killed a bunch of trees to make those buckets, you fiend.  Now you are enslaving the trees' children!
