I am quite curious what prompted the "Hello odd misshapen beast." thing myself...
Either your game is modded to add in some more stuff people say (don't know if it's possible) or you're kidding us. I just checked String dump and the word "misshapen" does not exist in 40d. "miss" always refers to something missing, "shaped" only exists once and "shapen" doesn't exist at all.

"Life, in a word, is weather." I think I saw that in one of my games once.

Life is, in a word, fertility.

I serve fertility.

Damn high priestesses...
Point me towards that high priestess. I feel the need to worship, but I need some, uh... one-on-one coaching.

Could it be the name of an added species?

Reminds me of my journey to my first goblin fortress ever. To the Temple of Incest.

Sounds like the Fellowship of Tortures my fortress currently is ruled by. For whatever reason, I try and make sure the nobles are really happy when they show up.

Now that I think of it, someone recently told me to experience fire.

I'm not sure if it implies that I should be burned to death, or that I should light things on fire. (or both)
