Been playing a bit. Energy weapons are fun, and so are software engineers. I just killed one on robot town, had optimised +1 Stormtrooper Armor and matching helmet, and an optimised +3 blaster. Friggin guard droid shot me with a heat ray.

So I've had a couple ideas. A crafting system might be fun. You could use the pre-existing junk piles, let the player search them. They turn up random crafting pieces, bullets, energy cells, ect. Give the parts B/D/O chances, and the parts you use determine the B/D/O status of whatever you built. For example, a lightsaber would be: 1 pipe section, 1 battery, 1 crystal, X number of generic "parts". Generic parts should be common, named parts uncommon.

Here's how the B/D/O status for the created weapon:
If all three main parts are Optimised/Debugged/Bugged, 100% chance for a Optimised/Debugged/Bugged item. Not sure how to work it from there.

Anyway, just a thought.

Space junk doesn't seem to serve any purpose right now. It's just really heavy. Maybe it's worth something if you try to sell it? Maybe it can be ID'd as something, like the gadgets?

Fun Fact: After wielding a buggy anal probe, I discovered that Quartersbacks do pretty good if you keep dumping skill points into unarmed and kick the shit out of everything.

Until you end up in a dark room with klingons. They fuck you right up.

Space Junk sells for 5 and is absurdly heavy. Useless for the moment.
