Hehe, quick tip: drop your credits before fighting the creeping credits. Then it won't teleport away at all. As for restraining bolts, I would think it would work more often, but I don't really use robots so I can't be entirely sure.
I have also put on a pair of buggy danger-sensitive goggles, and I really hate them lol.
So my last character made it through the Gamma Caves with a little luck, and some help from a raygun that turned out to be a teleport device. Otherwise, I am pretty sure the Alien Queens I was seeing a few floors in would have killed me for sure. I made it to somewhere called the Mainframe, but sadly didn't have a lot of time to figure out what was going on before getting killed by a Mail Daemon
I managed to use a map program right before my death, and I didn't see any further downstairs there, so I don't actually know it was the bottom.
This time around, I had a couple of small revelations (to me at least). The first is that if you manage to become very high level early on (yay tribbles!), you see much nastier stuff early as well. This is the first time I have seen space marines as enemies at all, but because of them i was able to take all the money in Robot Town lol. The second is that I have been ignoring a set of stairs in Robot Town, and going straight for the Gamma Caves every time. That would explain why I am dying so quickly down there
Another quick tip, you cant reload your empty raygun with a canister of gain abilities, sadly. I guess that would be pretty abusable.
Anyone know what a canister of Spice does?
