Finish them
« on: August 31, 2006, 12:18:00 am »

See I have this legendary miner, right? also skilled in other areas. Well some lizardmen sprung out of ambush while he was going to pick up an axe for some wood chopping. He flips out and rips the left arm off the first one. (He was unarmed.) Then apparently beats one of them's legs into a redline pulp. And finaly somehow punched one in the brain leaving him braindead but not actually dead. He then chopped some wood. Why didn't he finish off any of them?

The miner likely thought them to be a non-threat (unconcious enemies may not be considered "enemies" since they can't really hurt you; even though they could become concious) and so wandered off to do something else.

Why bother with lizardmen when there are trees to slaughter? After all, which one poses the bigger threat, a braindead lizard or a vicious oak?

It would be neat if dwarves stored KO'ed enemies in cages, if you have any free.  Then you could decide what to do with them at your leisure.

Well, the one without an arm can be a waiter.

The one with the broken legs can I guess be... hmm... A support column

and the last one gets to be a fern.
