I was wondering did any one got their adventurers married or have kids during their retirement? I so far only got up to friend level with kib mirroranvil and I'm starting to think the "likes to be alone might" be the problem.

Well considering you can't have kids or get married as far as I know, I don't think anyone has. Besides, this is adventure mode, its for making war not love! Unless you count rape, which I guess is a bit of both.

Wouldn't it be possible to make your adventurer mate by retiring him in a town and then embarking on the town and waiting until he has a child.

Also, on the topic of sex in df, is it ever gonna happen. And if it does it could have an interface similar to wrestling.

You ejected the first arrow by hand, didn't you? I see what you were trying to do, but testing a technique you've only heard about in the middle of battle wasn't very smart. You were asking to have your bow jam on you. Besides, I don't think you're cut out for a bow in the first place; you tend to twist your elbow a little to absorb the recoil. That's more of a crossbow technique.

so how long does it take for an average dwarf to reach lover status?
do I have to abandon ship and start with a super friendly female dwarf and recruit up to 5 or so dwarfs and try again?
