WTF does laud mean?

mason:you look yourself over and dont find anything out of the norm, you then cut one of the long bones of the rabbit out, it is light and unbelievably hard as well as springy, when you test it on your jeep it is akin to hitting smashing it with a crowbar and dents where it strikes, when you strike it on the crystals it pangs like that of a tuning fork and sticks weakly, and when you submerge the bone in the liquid it marginally regenerates the muscular segments that are still attached to the bone.
