Removing stuck-in arrows/bolts
« on: March 01, 2010, 06:10:28 am »

As per the title. How does one remove arrows stuck in his head or something like that? I know it doesn't really matter, but it's annoying.

Removing stuck in bolts/arrows is a bad idea. It causes more bleeding and pain.

Just embrace your new horns that occasionally hurt you.

Seriously though, I believe that you use a capital I to perform advanced interactions to pull it out.

Capital I
Scroll to the bottom
You should see the offending arrow or weapon in red
select it and you should be given the option to remove it.

I'm not sure if stuck-ins persist even after fast travel, but be forewarned that removing stuck-ins causes bleeding and pain. The only real reason to do it is if an enemy as stuck a spear into you and is twisting it.

I had a copper spear stuck in my guys head, I decided to leave it there hoping I would get two stuck in my head.

They stay in your head or whatever they're stuck in as you 'T'ravel. Just make sure not to pull out one in a fight, as you'll probably be bleeding already and won't have any use to be bleeding even worse.

One of my coolest adventurers has a steel bolt stuck in her head (from when she cleansed the mountain homes on her own), and as such I nicknamed her 'Bolthead'.

I always pull them out after I've fast-travelled, it's safer that way.

I hope that in the next version, you can Injure yourself. My guy is a javalineer or a axe hurdler, and I would find it better if I had two or three axe's stuck in my head or something. Also, for those phyco people, you coulg just hack your fingers off for no reason, workers compensation?

Wait wait wait, you're saying you want to stick axes in YOUR OWN HEAD so you can THROW them better.

PLEASE tell me I'm misinterpreting you.
