You examine  your surroundings, the room is more brightly lit than the diner.
The walls are an old darkened yellow on concrete walls.
The room is more of a dead end really, you have no idea why they would construct such pointless places.
The floor is some weird combination between metal and concrete, but still a natural grey.
You cannot see the ceiling, it seems to just go on forever upwards...

The light is coming from rectangle boxes embedded into the wall about 3 meters upwards.
They are all around, about 2 meters in between each light, some lights wont stop flickering on and off.

The room is openly connected to a hallway, which seems exactly like this room in detail but more narrower and longer.
About 30 meters down the hall there is a corner.

All this does is make the sounds slowly accelerate.
There is a river up ahead, on the other side of the river there is a cliff.

You start sprinting, as fast as you can towards the river, the twig breaking is right behind you now, huffing, puffing and grunts are heard right near your ear.
You throw yourself over to the otherside of the river.
Snarls are heard, then barks.
The origin of them seems to be the thing that was breaking twigs, it sounds like its four times the size and width of you...

You are now hanging onto the cliff face on the opposite edge of the river, with the invisible creature on the otherside of the river

You investigate the boxes.
The boxes seem to be one inch thick metal.
There is plastic on one side showing through, the plastic is less thick.
The bulb is behind the plastic.
If you wanted to, you may be able to shoot out a light with a well placed shot...

Suddenly, as you were looking up, something caught your attention...

High high above, a white shape was falling downwards at high speed.
You make out its a human body, and it seems to be wearing a lab coat as it comes closer.
The body lands on the floor and explodes into gore, body parts flying everywhere, you swore a hand almost hit you on the face, almost slapping you.

But due to the clothing, it seems the explosion of gore was limited to a short distance due to the clothing.
The clothing is mostly intact but are now bloodied.
There is a giant blood splatter on the floor where the body landed...

Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

You start climbing the face of the cliff, losing your grip time and time again, it seems impossible till you finally manage to get a firm grip, you then start climbing higher.
You are now about three meters off the ground, water can be heard splashing aswell as growling...

Searching the pockets, you find a pen, and a necklace made out of greenstone.
Screeching can be heard high high above you....

You are now halfway when the barking intensifies, it seems right under you.
It stops for a minute, then suddenly the cliff-face starts shaking, some rocks are pulled loose.
It seems it is ramming the cliff face...

You move away from the items, and try to find cover, there is none...
Screeching continues from high above, and it is joined in with several other tones.
All goes quite before loud thumping can be heard on the walls high above, getting closer...

After reloading your gun you think it would be safest to go back to the vent, but now, it seems the vent is shut.
The lights flicker for a few seconds before all going out.
You are now in pitch black darkness...

Its a suggestion thread, just do what you would normally do in those situations, think like the protagonists.

Making advantage of the new hand-holes, you climb fast enough to make sure the holds dont have a chance to fall out, unfortunitly this does not work as expected as you almost slip and fall into what you imagine to be the awaiting jaws of a monster dog...

You are now hanging by your left hand on a very unstable hand hold...

You are not so sure about your thought that it would be safer now that the lights are out as those creatures have been up in the darkness efficently for some time, though you cant put exact time on it... Odd...

You seem to recognize a light in the distance... like an elevator light...

You re affirm your handholds and start throwing the rocks at the giant invisible monster dog, it seems to simply chomp right through them.
After a while it starts ramming the wall again...
