It's whale. Merriam-Webster's third definition gives "lash, thrash; to strike or hit vigorously".

You engage in combat with the freaky humanoid.
You start "lashing, thrashing, and striking vigorously" at the creature.
The creature manages to start gnawing at an amazing rate on the table legs.
The creature also starts whaling on you with its sharpened claws...
Hitting you in the legs and causing the fabrid to be ripped aswell as drawing blood.
While the creature is occupied on your leg/club you start striking it on the head with the other club, doing some but little dammage compared to what its doing to you...

You drop the club being used to bash it on the head in favor of the gun.
The creature finishes gnawing through the table leg, which is now cut in half and splintered... It would make a poor stabbing tool and a below average bashing tool.

The creature now opens its circular mouth fully open and starts roaring, with such a force that it seems ot shake the room around you..
Slober flies out of its mouth, some hitting you some hitting the area around you...
It starts lashing out on your legs at full force while still screaming at you.

You start fireing on it rapidly with whatever bullets you have left.
One... Hits its shoulder, the bullet seems to go through but has no effect on the creature what so ever except a little dark red, almost purple, blood slowly dripping out.
Two... The bullet hits just below the creatures collarbone, this does lesserdammage..
Three... The bullet hits the stomache, green gunk starts flowing out of the wound.
Four... The bullet hits the creature in the head, the bullet hits the skull and rebounds out, there is a little trickle of blood flowing from the creatures forehead...
Five... The bullet hits the creatures eye, blinding it fully in one eye, now it can only see through the other...

The creature starts gnawing on you now, Blood starts splattering everywhere...

Six... The bullet shoots the creatures lower body, near the crotch, where its center of gravity seems to be, this knocks the creature over, but not for long...

You are currently bleeding like mad from the legs, you are death in the right ear and it is hurting as hell.
And your right hand has teeth marks in it aswell...


p.s. out of bullets...

You leap at the creature, blood dripping from your pants onto the ground.
You tackle the creature back down onto the ground just as it was about to upright itself and then forcefully shove the broken table leg down the creatures throat.
The creature chokes for a bit, then looks at you angrily, it then stars clawing at its own mouth with its claws, cutting it open...
The broken table leg then starts sliding down the creautre throat...
It starts choking more and more and starts coughing, blood pours from the cuts around the mouth and from the creatures throat.

Claws start swipping at you again, it seems the creature has uprighted itself now, still choking and blood flowing out of its mouth...

You kick it away from your and then immedietly head-stomp the creature, keeping your foot pressed on its head.
You then do a continuous 1-2 combo with your fists, bashing the creatures stomache in...

Eventually it lays dead on the floor...
Its guys spill everytwhere, including the green liquid.
