You drank the fresh water.It was refreshing you never drank something so pure in your life. You had to get over this river somehow.You tried to dig under the river avoiding the river.

Your tunnel cave in from all the water and you floated to the top, the shaman had to fish you out and you fell unconscious.

When you woke up you say a vine looking over you. It was linked to a tree opposite sides of the river. It looked pretty thin and it might be able to hold your weight.
