Speaking of dwarves, Dwarmin hasn't been around for a while.

Anyways, yea, we can drop the discussion on the glow sticks. Although if anybody has a suggestion for a better name, feel free to do so since the name was on the spur of the moment and I'm not sure if the name breaks immersion much and what period appropriate name would work.

bla bla bla, I'm rambling off aren't I :)

QUEST PROGRESS

THE PARTY enters the lefthand door, and makes their way down a long, dark hall. Eventually they come to a medium sized room. The side walls are lined with dark prison cells, from which you hear a faint groaning. White mist is billowing from the between the cell bars. On the far wall there hangs a small metal key.

DO YOU ENTER THE ROOM?!?!?

>Toss a stone into the funny mist
(where are you getting these stones??)
anyway the stone hits something solid, which you hear retreating further into the cell.
*COUGH COUGH* "AGH WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT.."

Roll one of the light sticks in the direction of the groaning sound
(SMART)
The stick illuminates the cell, revealing several huddled figures, peasants and priests alike. They appear starving and emaciated, and are deathly pale. With every breath a cloud of white mist leaks from their mouths.
"wh-who are you?!" one of them shouts.

Seeing the mist from the prisioners breath, Eridraal started becoming aware of the room being very cold if not freezing.

Looking around for a torch to light the room and perhaps try to warm it up, he responds to the prisioners. "You could say we are your rescuers. We came to this town and found it in this...strange... state."

"I'm Eridraal. Maybe you can explain whats going on while we get you out of here?"

It is room temperature, if not warmer.

"I am Rothgar, monk of the order. I come in the service of the most glorious god of the order. What is your purpose here?"
A priest speaks:
"A monk? Oh thank god... please, rescue us before we become one of them..."

"I'm Eridraal. Maybe you can explain whats going on while we get you out of here?"
The priest continues, his voice trembling with fear:
"we are prisoners to the Lich, a fell creature who stalks the shadow of the mountain. Normally the light of day is enough to drive him off, but as of late his evil power has increased tenfold! He holds the whole town in thrall, slowly eating our souls one by one..."

"one merely needs to follow the trail of our breath to find him...."

as the priest says this, you notice that the white mist the prisoners exhale is slowly drifting through the now-opened door and back into the entrance hall.

Valdar, saddened by the prisoners, gives them one of Bill's pieces of meat.
Also what is up with this
Quote
10 bottles of alcohol, 10 pieces of meat, Priest Skullcap, 10 hallucination berries, Ethereal blade (+5 damage in spirit world), 5 pieces of meat (10/20)
Firstly we have 10 pieces of meat and 5 pieces of meat too, and also we are carrying way too much stuff

"Will you be able to escape the town when we let you out?" he says as he heads towards the keys on the far wall with intent to free the prisioners.

Bill the pony is outside right now.

HMM, I don't remember if pieces of meat/bottles of alcohol stack like smaller items do (5 items = 1 inventory space)
no one uses meat anyway because no one ever seems to get hurt in combat...

"Will you be able to escape the town when we let you out?" he says as he heads towards the keys on the far wall with intent to free the prisioners.
"we may be weakened, but we still have the strength to flee..."

If they stack, it's 6 items, not 10. And I seem to remember that they do not stack, otherwise we would be able to carry ludicrous quantities, and I remember that I was saddened that we could not carry more.

Luke you should totes get some meat
