they are naked.

I suppose you could take their teeth or their eyes for potion ingredients, but whatever.

Even if Elves are cannibals and eat other sapients in this world, maybe I'll leave the corpses alone, dunno what I'd use human teeth or eyes for in a potion anyway.

I'm wondering about whether or not I should let the alchemist make potions that do stuff besides damage enemies.

healing or buffing potions, perhaps, which you couldn't make with your usual *infinite bag of potion ingredient*.

Having some healing and buffing potions sounds like a neat idea. I know we already have like 2 or 3 healers already, but nobody besides Valdar has any buffing abilities.

Motion towards the middle door and ask Acanthus "Hey, you're a theif, right? ((NOT a reference to stealing xp, lol)) So do you think you'd be able to pick the lock on that one?"

"Alright, I'll pick your damn lock." Acanthus then shoots the lock.

"Thank you, now we can really decide which one to choose. In any case, I say we use the middle door."

Fumbling around in his alchemy stuff, looking for something to make a light source out of, Eridraal says, "I bet the answer to whats going on could be found in that direction."

"Alright, I'll pick your damn lock." Acanthus then shoots the lock.

With a resounding clash, the lock breaks, falling off the hinge and landing in pieces on the floor tiles.

The sound has apparently drawn attention from somewhere else in the temple... From behind the leftmost door you hear faint cries for help.

Acanthus, not one for secrecy at this time, shoots the leftmost lock, and prepares to enter.

After hearing the cry for help and looking towards the left door, Eridraal said "Then again....."

As Acanthus said approach with extreme caution, Eridraal nodded "Agreed."

Looking back at his alchemy stuff, he found some glow sticks which he generally makes for his camping needs and while looking for reagents that can only be found or are best found at night. They are six inch long amber cylinders which have a hole on one end that runs to the middle of it and is coated with the extract of mushrooms that glow in the dark. You activate them by inserting a shaped copper rod which is coated with an alchemical compound. They give off an orange glow, similar to a torch.

As he activated it, he motioned towards the others, "anybody want one of these for some additional light sources?

((If acanthus can have a gun which is modern technology, why not glow sticks? I initially wanted to say plastic, but amber sounds like something the elves would use and is the closest analogue to plastic that could be acceptable.))
