The Temple, we've already gone up the path to the entrance, so why turn back now? I doubt we'll find much in the village besides random combat encounters.

The party opens the door to the temple, and is blasted by a thick cloud of fog. It is icey cold, but eventually the mist passes, allowing you to see into the temple.

The floors are tiled with a strange, dark stone, the texture of which resembles marble. The walls are high, stretching up into darkness. There is scarcely any light here but for a few wall-mounted candles, which smolder with a pale flame.

IN OTHER NEWS, it's quiet. too quiet. To the left lies a door. To the right lies a door. Ahead of you there lies a door affixed with a lock.

((Can I try to make phosphorescent torches? Not sure about materials though.))

As soon as the fog cleared up some, Eridraal decided to try to do something about the lack of light and quickly rummaged through the alchemy reagents and stuff that he was carrying with him.

"Hey Acanthus, you're a theif, right? So you think you can pick the lock?"

As for which door, dunno.....

WITHOUT WARNING, a dense cloud of fog begins begins falling from above, making vision nearly impossible. The party is driven back through the temple doors by the fog, which begins to form a thick, cloud-like wall at the far end of the temple's entrance.

strange, ghostly figures begin to emerge from the fog!!

STATE WHO WILL PARTICIPATE IN THIS COMBAT

Fire an arrow at the left-most figure.

since when did you have a character?

(no offense, but we do have rules to follow here. There may be an opportunity for you to create a character near the end of this dungeon.)

Taking the cue from Valdar, move northeast and toss a toxin vial at the middle ghost.

@Org, if you want to join, you should at least make a character so that we know what you want to play as, even if you have to wait.

I JUST REALIZED

that luke_prolwer and 100killer9 have gone offline. I think that, out of courtesy, we should wait until more players come online so that any experience gained will be more evenly distributed.

Although, letting you two continue on alone might allow your characters' levels to catch up to the others a little.

what do you think we should do?

I certainly could use the xp as I'm trying to get the chain attack, contagion, as soon as possible.

It would depend on how strong these specters are.

Yes, I fear that we may not have enough time if we wait for them to come back, or be able to play at all. The days when we had long sessions with everyone playing are long gone...

Well, it is around the time when people have their finals and whatever end-semester stuff due, so maybe it'll pick up again after that's over.
