Okay, Okay, now that everyone's looted everything (I'll have to modify acanthus's tile so he's wearing the archer's mantle...) the only progress you can make is to leave the forest (unless you want to ask the druid any questions before you go)

Just tell me who's ready to go.

One last question for the Druid- "How long till that there conduit is repaired? We're kinda in a hurry, and if it's giving the evil wizard power, we need it denied to him."

One last question for the Druid- "How long till that there conduit is repaired? We're kinda in a hurry, and if it's giving the evil wizard power, we need it denied to him."

"you need not worry, child. With the keys in my hands, the conduit shall be repaired within minutes. Your concern is with the wizard himself... you must continue on your journey. Farewell!"

AND WITH THAT the party leaves the forest.

after much walking, the trees thin and the terrain becomes uneven and rocky. The ground level is steadily rising as you continue eastward. you have come to the foothills of a the Eastern Mountains.

Two paths lie before you. One path leads north-east, to the temple of Order (for any players who wish to leave the party, hint hint wink wink) The other leads deeper into the mountains, and presumebly to the dwarven mountain halls.

WHERE GO?!?

"My companions, I suggest we split up, Dwargza and (Inset quitters here) can go to the temple of order and the rest of us shall go see the dwarfs."

...

Ha ha Dwargza just kidding (crazy bitch)

Temple of Order or Dwarf Fortress? hmm

What do we know about this fortress temple of order? Is it more like a place for priests and crusader types, or more "ancient repository of knowledge" kind of place?

Rothgar chimes in and states: "it is a monastery where monks of my order (the order of order?) go to ponder over ancient scriptures, using philosophy to try and achieve enlightenment."

I might as well go, maybe I'll find an apocalypse spell...I mean, achieve inner peace of course.

Actions: To the Temple of Order! Strike the books!

I'll go alone if need be, we can meet up again later. This place is more useful for learned types like myself, while the Fortress will have more weapons/armor/supplies and whatnot.

Wait can we go to the temple without being taken out of the game?

alright... originally I had a plan for the temple of order as a dungeon section, but I kind of abandoned that and made it an excuse for Rothgar to leave the game in an in-character fashion. But I guess I can rethink the temple of order as a dungeon again...

Dwarmin, you may split the party and go to the temple of order IF two or players are willing to accompany you.

(I will have to run alternating sessions for the parties in different places though...)

I suggest we stay together whether or not the temple is "retirement".

If we can go to the temple than I vote for that.
