The voice lowers, becoming less worried, but still not without caution.

"hmm. I guess if he trusts you then there's no reason for me not to... but how do I know you didn't kill him, or steal the key?!"

The guardian appears before you as a green-skinned spirit clothed only in the leaves and vines
of the forest. She is bearing gifts.

YOU HAVE CONVINCED THE GUARDIAN TO AID YOU

as a result, you gain

SACRED FRAGMENT, another piece of the key.

In addition, she offers you:

-2 Ethereal blades (+5 damage when in the spirit world)
-2 suits of Ethereal chainmail (+2 defense in the spirit world)
-1 Bronze headdress (+2 charisma)
-10 fragrant fruit (throwable object - stuns enemies in a 1-tile radius from where it lands for 3 turns)
