One question, how do you determine how many moves you can make in one turn? I believe agility determines this, but just want to clarify if say you have 5 agility and you move one square, attack two times, move two squares counts as valid?

Also, do you use up mana or endurance when casting a spell or whatever?

I have a feeling that my character could be a heck of a ranged character. I prefer to get in on the action, so I'll have a good offensive role what with the one or two ranged bolts that are available.

CUTSCENE TIME

The wolf retreats to the far side of the glade, and howls into the forest..

The copse of trees at the border of the glade fold over, forming and doorway. from this path descends a ancient, decaying creature.

His head is crowned with curling horns, and his twisted, hoofed legs are covered in shaggy hair and moss. Despite his bedraggled appearance he carries himself with a strange dignity. The Ghost hound seats itself at this creature's feet, like a pet.

"Why would you attack us to prove that we are good? All it proves is that we are stronger than a wolf spirit and you are a ass."
"I follow the old ways... traditions which have more power in my world than they have in yours. This test has proved you worthy, whether you believe it has or not."

(he's old fashioned and superstitious)

"Now... I imagine you seek knowledge of the key?"

OUT OF CHARACTER

One question, how do you determine how many moves you can make in one turn? I believe agility determines this, but just want to clarify if say you have 5 agility and you move one square, attack two times, move two squares counts as valid?

your agility does not determine how many moves you can make in a turn. At 10 agility, however, some classes can unlock haste, which increases the amount of actions you can perform.

Also, do you use up mana or endurance when casting a spell or whatever?

Some spells and abilities have a cooldown (number of turns before you can perform it again) which serves the same purpose.

I think you can only have 1 ability per turn and 1 move.

Would you guys recommend charisma, or agility? Charisma doesn't really help my Soothing Song, but it will get me a really cool move at 20 charisma. Agility boosts my attack, but it's still not that great of an attack... however, I can get the guitar slide too.
What do you think?

"O wise protector of the spirit woods, what can you tell us of the key?"

Edit: The power slide is ok but the other thing is awesome. Take charisma.

Getting up from the prone position, Raith moves over to zombie's body to see if there is any interesting loot, and looks for the axe he had thrown.

((What does he get at charisma 20?))
"What is it a key to? I'm guessing it is a metaphorical key, right?"

I don't know what I get at 20 cha, but I think it'll be awesome.

Also, char boosts my Sound Wave damage and healing (though nobody has high enough endurance for better healing to actually be useful; my Soundwave already does full heal)

but it will get me a really cool move at 20 charisma.

You talking about soundwave? check the class list again... you already have that.

CUTSCENE ACTIONS

Dwarzga, having just got really really high, approaches the party as the conversation begins.

"O wise protector of the spirit woods, what can you tell us of the key?"
"What is it a key to? I'm guessing it is a metaphorical key, right?"

"the key keeps the conduit between the worlds balanced... when a creature dies it releases its soul to  the spirit world, and when a creature is born a soul leaves the spirit world to give that creature life. But the tamperings of that wizard have torn the gateway too wide... the living enter the spirit realm and the dead enter the mortal plane through no will of their own...

The keys are there to keep the conduit in balance... only they can repair the tear. There is one key in the mortal plane, and one key in our world... but we keep ours in three pieces. I hold one piece... if you think you can accomplish this task, if you think you can balance the conduit, I will give my piece to you. But it's up to you to find the other pieces and the other key."

Getting up from the prone position, Raith moves over to zombie's body to see if there is any interesting loot, and looks for the axe he had thrown.

Raith picks up the iron axe.

The corpse has:
-Ethereal chest plate (+5 defense in spirit world, +1 defense in real world.)
