Wait...
Why is Próthaa down by 2 agility? Is there now encumbrance? Is bringing multiple gears around for no good reason a bad idea?
Anyway, if I can control Próthaa, she chooses the right path, believing it to be too obvious of a trick and thus not a trick.

Oh and yeah there's incumberance. See your inventory? If it is over your current strength level you take an agility penalty... I explained that earlier, but I guess you were offline. sorry!

QUEST PROGRESS

Let's assume Prothaa jumped on the bandwagon and snarfed down a load of berries.
spirit world
-Prothaa
-Raith
-Garrow
-Acanthus
-Valdar
-Jorn
real world
-Rothgar (drugs are bad)
-Dwarzga (devious reasons)

Anways, so far we have 1 vote for middle, 1 for left, and 2 for right. So I guess majority rules. Is everyone okay with this?

Jooblez is offline, so..........
his vote can be overruled for now.

QUEST PROGRESS

Raith, Prothaa, and Valdar venture down the fruit-lined path. The trees above them grow thicker, but the road remains clear. In the dim light the hallucination berries give off a faint, golden glow.

Eventually they come to a wider glade, filled up to the treetops with shimmering fruit. A voice calls to them, as if from everywhere at once:

"Welcome, children... what brings you here?"

yeah didn't you say you thought it was safe to take the berries? I figured everyone went in (c'ept Dwarmin's characters, she specifically stated that she didn't) which solves the problem of splitting the party.

EDIT: wait, is everyone offline now? what, Luke and killer make one post and then log out?
I'm not mad, I mean, don't fell like you're obligated to post here, it's just you brought my hopes up, you guys...  :'(

We're here to kill Fausto and seal the connection, but don't tell him that. We need to determine whose side he's on. If we say we want to kill Fausto and he turns out to be Fausto and zaps us with lightning, that would suck.

Sorry, I was distracted >_<

Surprised but the sudden disembodied voice, Raith trys to get an answer out. "We, er, we are heard to root out that which plans to miss use the, um, forest spirit?"

QUEST PROGRESS

"Who are you?"

"I am a guardian. There are three of us.. I keep a piece of the Key and I keep the peace of this realm. But you..."

The voice grows suspicous.

"You are not the first to pass through here... Before you there came another... and with your passing I once again smell the foul reek of chaos. Explain yourselves."

"We, er, we are heard to root out that which plans to miss use the, um, forest spirit?"

"A just reason... but how can I be sure that you are truthful?"

OUT OF CHARACTER

I am leary of going in with out the evil wizard (what did you think I was mistaking the guy we were after as a wizard?) can we say I spike their food before I go in?

can you be a tad more... explanatory?

Gosh, well, if you're planning to trick other players, you could at least not announce it in the thread.

QUEST PROGRESS

The voice fades out for a while, before returning.

"enough talk... I have decided a way to discern your virtue."

A harsh yet fragrant wind whips through the glade, throwing leaves in all directions. Slowly a shape begins to rise from the underbrush.

"A test of fortitude... and may Unferth favour the Victor!"

From beneath the fallen leaves a beast tears itself free, its emergence casting dust and dirt in every direction. A massive ethereal wolf, its eyes glowing with determination.
