Well yeah, but Jooblez will get alot more use out of it then me. And I don't even think I can wield a buckler with a staff...nor would I have any reason too.

Now on the other hand, I could decide to loot the buckler, unless any our new players need it. I'll just pawn it off somewhere...lol

SO, Dwargza will loot the buckler if no one claims it as their own

You know you have a sword, right
you've had it since the beginning of the quest
also, you still have 1 skill point you haven't used -  at level 5 you get 4 skill points.

also, art for the new party members is finished:

I think I may want to redo Acanthus's image...

QUEST PROGRESS

The party (jorn, Dwarzga, Prothaa, Raith, Rothgar, Garrow, Bill) have at long last finished their stay in Bywater, and they make for the open road renewed and refreshed. They've got a long journey ahead of them, for their quest is only just beginning.

After a few hours of walking, the party comes to the edge of a vast, dark forest. Beyond the forest lie the Eastern Mountains... It would seem that going through the woods is the only way forward.

There is a small path leading into the woods. Sitting on a stump near the woodland border is a yound blonde elf, playing music on a harp. He notices the party, and approaches to speak with them.

CHEDDARIUS THIS IS WHERE YOU CONVINCE THEM TO LET YOU JOIN THERE PARTY
don't worry acanthus, you'll get to join in just a minute

Do you have a website or something?
my seldom-updated Deviantart gallery

Reminder: Dwarzga has a sword and still needs to spend one skill point (see my earlier post)

Dwargza is grumbling about cruel and fickle Gods seeing unfit to reward her hard work...when she see's a fancy Elf of indeterminate gender twanging a harp...she prepares a firebolt, for as all Dwarves know wild Elves are notorious cannibals.

OOC: Oh then, I add +1 to Cunning
Also, a sword?! Oh yeah, the pointy rusty thing I used for opening canned goods. Now I have a replacement pot lid in the form of a shield!

Raith frowned at the approach of the bard. "Great. More elves"

Dwargza says "I agree with you there Raith. All these pointy eared freaks are making me nervous. Anywho, wanna bet to see if I can ignite that feather in it's cap with one shot?"

Cheddarius waves to the oncoming party.
"Hello, my good lads! I'm looking for work; might you consider me joining your party? There's no need to pay me, oh no. I merely seek adventure, and morbidly obese loot! And I'm a bit peckish, if you've any food on you. Haven't eaten in three days, actually. Ah well, builds character, eh?
In any case, I'm a bard, as you can see. My music will inspire you and lend you strength! Sometimes I can even sew together wounds! Come, listen."
Cheddarius begins playing his harp melodiously, making up a song.
"Hello my fellow travellers! I think you're pretty cool
And I can see that your quest will be hard
So why not let me follow, and pack my stuff on your mule
And gain the myriad benefits of having a good bard?

My songs will bolster warriors, so en'mies they may cleave
I'll gladly come along, whether up, down, west, south, or north
So let us grab our things and let us now directly leave -
For adventure! for questing! Away! Let us go forth!"

Also you should put your Grand Adventure stuff on DA, it's good.
