you know, with all the people going online and offline at seemingly random intervials, I think I was right before in saying that weekends are probably not the best time to run these things. I have to go offline in a bit as well...

we could maybe try for later tonight or tomorrow, if you're not busy.

OKAY, I've looked over my schedule, and I have time to run the session for the rest of the night... we should at least be able to finish the Duke Fight, if anyone's interested.

(combat sessions are always harder to organize than roleplaying sessions. It's complicated to keep EXP distribution balanced)

I am in.

(For exp you can just make a pool for it and everyone in the battle gets a share at the end. Also for the people that cant play as much you can have it so every level you are below the groups highest level you get say +50% exp.
EX:
Fight: Three bad guys 4exp each Vs a level one priest and a level two warrior.
Round one: The bad guys and the War move closer the priest charms a bad guy.
Round two: The bad guys attack each other and the War charges hurting a non-charmed bad guy. The priest charms another bad guy.
Round three: The warrior does a spin attack killing the three bad guys, they die because they are all wounded.

Now under the current system the War gets 12exp and the priest gets 0, even though the priest help and ended the fight at lest one round faster and saved the warrior from probable hurt. If you took my suggestions the Warrior would get 6exp and the priest would get 9 because he is a lower level.)

you have a lot of good ideas, criptfiend.

I will consider ways to incorporate aspects of this into the current EXP system. Thanks for the suggestions.

k... I guess I can just put the offline players on "autopilot" for now. unless they post otherwise, dwarzga will fireball, prothaa will charm, and rothgar will perform melee attacks.

INITIATE COMBAT (post your actions so I can write the log)
