alright gimme a sec...

the party opens the final lock and the massive wooden door swings open, revealing a hallway leading steadily upward. At the end of this hallway there is a door.

The party gallantly ascends the hallway and throws open the door. They see a crumpled man in a purple robe, surrounded by chests of treasure. He appears to have just finished praying.

he turns to face you and draws a steel sword, which appears to be a little too heavy for him to wield.

"I'll hold them off as long as I can, my master..." he says to no one. "but please, answer my call..."

The Duke begins advancing on you!

INITIATE COMBAT!

"Hey, I'm the one who talks to voices around here, not YOU!"

Actions: TRICK SHOT! Attempt to firebolt the sword out of the Duke's hands. Blowing off his hands would also be preferable.

OOC: I doubt Fault would let us Charm bosses, that's too easy. At best, maybe you'll stun him.

Have Jorn/Criptfiend charge into melee as punishment! Also, I think the duke is a caster due to his high cunning score. No danger at all!
