"Wow, it's just like Legend of Zelda It would be smart to explore this floor first and then exploring the others levels later. How tall his this building, anyway?"

QUEST PROGRESS

the party goes down the hallway. The guards elect to stay in the entrance hall, to keep watch.

At the end of the hallway there is what appears to be a dining room. Along the walls of this room there are eight chests: four on the left, three on the right, with a larger chest at the far end of the room.

Each smaller chest has a coloured flag draped over it. the colours are red, purple, orange, green, blue, navy, and yellow. all the smaller chests have a key-lock set upon them, except for the red chest, which is unlocked. The larger chest at the far end of the room has a combination lock with three symbols.

How tall his this building, anyway?"

Three floors, not counting the basement

>The symbols are a scroll, a skull, and an empty hand. Likely this symbolizes some aspect of Noble Culture.
>The unlocked chest contains a small iron key. Too small for the larger locks on the central door, but just the right size for the other small chests.

With a series of clicks, the orange chest becomes unlocked. It opens revealing an identical small key. The first key appears to have sealed itself inside the lock.

The key does not fit in the lock on the blue chest.

You hear a series of clicks and the sound of gears moving within the walls, and suddenly metal bars appear in the doorway behind you, sealing you in the room.

Try them in alphabetical order.

And I think when we got to 1-2 we knew what was coming.

Raith facepalmed "You nimrod, it's red, orange, yellow, green, blue, navy, purple. Do you never look up after a rain storm or are you too obsessed with maroon?"

Raith has inserted the keys into the chests in the right order!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

He gains 1 experience point.

The purple chest opens revealing no key. However, the motion of opening the chest appears to act as a lever, transfering the motion through a series of axles in the walls and opening the larger chest. This process also raises the metal bars behind you!

Inside the larger chest lies an oversized steel key.

Raith looks over to Dwargza "I didn't mean you, I was talking about mister charmsalot over here" he said point to the human priest. He thenn moves over and grabs the over sized key. "Onto the next level, shall we?"
