((OK plan: we get the head of the merchants, the priest I was talking too, the head of the city guards, and some peasants to come with us to meet the captain of the castle guard. We convince him that the duke is corrupt and than in a bloodless coup we takeover the dukedom and reign in a new era of peace and prosperity/ Fail to convince the captain incite a civil war that sees us as the bloody handed concurers, what ever.))

"Can I see  the captain of the city guard than?"

Hmm... Attempt to seduce the merchant into buying the chainmail and sign.

The merchant is suddenly willing to barter!

He trades the sign and the rusty chainmail for a belt and an iron chainmail.

Prothaa gains one experience point for being goddamn persistent

also, who approves of the party waiting around the tavern until the captain of the guard shows up?

Can it be assumed that I get the aforementioned NPCS to join us?

Alright, now that I'm better equipped, I meet up with Jorn.
"Alright, we make our way in, kill the Duke, and make me Duchess of Bywater? Sounds good."

The merchant leader is unwilling to participate because your elf conned him out of 4 gold worth of merchandise and made him an accomplice to sign vandalism.

But other than that, yeah.

You can be the a high ranking minster but I get to be the Duke because it was my plan, although I am willing to talk. Also we are going to try not to kill him.

((Although we all know there is no way he is not like a daemon or something so ya we are going to kill him.))

Can we skip to the point at witch something goes horabily wrong? Or is that asking to much?

"Wrong. We share the power if this coup goes well. And plus, I will not be a church."

"Well, that won't just do! COME ON PEOPLE, GET OUT OF YOUR HOUSES! Time to take back what is ours! Death to the nobility! Death to the tax man! For your children's sakes, ONWARD! Toward FREEDOM! Also, bring torches and pitchforks."

Actions: Dwargza begins construction on an angry mob! I begin to whip the villagers into a killing frenzy against the Duke for denying me my rightfully earned wages, and uh, because he's evil and stuff.

QUEST PROGRESS

prothaa and Jorn

Night falls. Jorn and Prothaa wait at a table in the tavern with the Bishop of Bywater.

After a short while the captain of the guard walks in with three of his soldiers. They sit down at a table near the corner without ordering anything. From their table snippets of conversation can be heard:

"okay, at the stroke of midnight we'll sneak into his room.."

"how will we get past his pets?"

"that may be a problem..."

Spoiler: HINT (click to show/hide)

dwarzga and I'm assuming Raith

the crowds remain cautious about your plans of rebellion. But then they sight the Captain of the guard leaving his post, and they begin to gain more hope. Without their captain, the guard will surely be ill-prepared. given such confidence, they form be a more effective mob.

Tell the guard that we're on their side. We just need to know if they'll help us take down the Duke, and why some dogs or cats would be so dangerous.

Yeah, even if they're big dogs and cats, no problem!

"Wrong. We share the power if this coup goes well. And plus, I will not be a church."

Good point we shall (sorry for even suggesting otherwise, but I had to try  you understand?) share power. But what does that last part mean?

I shall approach the table of the captain.

"Hello gentlemen what are you talking about this fine evening?"

Seeing Dwarzga attempt to get the peasantry to mob, he quickly runs over and grabs her by the ear, dragging her out of sight "Are you crazy, you moronic oaf!" Raith yelled at the the dwarf "Are you trying to get us killed?! I think you need to get your head dunked into some humbleness" The goblin then dragged the unwilling mage into the inn, where the rest of the team had gathered. "You know what this lame brain was doing outside?"
