YES WE ARE!
BEGIN SESSIONWe last left our heroes staring
down the barrel of a goblin captain p
osessed by the god of war.
The gobli
ns ascending the staircase flee t
o their warlord at the sigh
t of the enraged capta
in, whom after slaughtering his former comrades is
now advancing on the par
ty. The fir
e in his eyes is blinding, and it casts a hellish o
range light on the entire hall! Just when it seems our party's hour of doom is at hand, the goblin captain
falters in his st
ep, and his bloodthirsty smile dissapea
rs as his face becom
es overwhelmed by terror.
Smoke
and Spa
rks begin issuing from the captain's eyes, and
mouth, and ears as h
is posses
sion begins to wear off. The sparks
turn to gouts of orange flame as the presence of Armistus is violently purged from the goblin's body. The heat is overwhelming, b
ut eventually it passes, leaving the goblin captain reduced to a pile of ash and melted armour. Without the light of Armistus the room is plunged into an ethereal darkne
ss.
The only light comes from the door at the end of the throne room, which has been left open a crack. The orcish warlord, and presumeably his treasure, lie beyond this door.
In front of you lies the stairs down into the throne room. Behind you lie metal bars keeping you from leaving the room. At the far end of the room lies the door to the Orc Warlord. On the ground in front of you lie the corpses of a goblin axe lord and a goblin mace lord, as well as what is left of the goblin captain.
Shouldn't I get experience points for the goblin captian slaughtering everyone?
