Looking at their new threat, Raith placed his head in his hands. "When we get out of here, I'm going to sleep for a week, and kill anyone who wakes me up before that" He then grabbed his ax and held it menacingly "Alright, so we're going to kill that coward. That good's, I have a bone to pick with him anyway"

Alright then, might as well get some pot shots in while they are waiting.
Actions: Firebolt spam at the captain!

Several goblins dive in front of the captain and take the shots for him. He is MIFFED by your attempts at attack, and begins leading his party towards your position.

The Guard will enter combat range soon!

OKAY! glad you understand the layout now. (it's kinda like: bottomless pit room/staircase\Throne room.)

Dwargza speaks! "Well, it's clear that the Warlord planned for us to escape along, as he plans for us to defeat this poor captain. (oh that's mean) I'm guessing he is only a magical hologram (huh?) of some sort, sure to become a recurring protagonist! (surely you mean antagonist...) On that account..."

Dwarves are famed for their logic.

VERY WELL, you are now weilding the axe. It has no stat differences than your sabre, but whatever, it's cleaner I guess.

Oh, the goblins are still out of Charm range?
When the goblins enter charm range, charm the captian of the guard.

We are waiting for Raith to state his action in combat at the moment. We all know swiftwind is just gonna shoot the nearest goblin...

Ok if I can get there cast charm on a guard and have him attack someone else. If not than I shall lend moral support.

It is undodgeable!
Spearcarrier is killed.

Prothaa attempts to charm the Goblin Axeman. His cunning is 3, and your charisma is 6. He must beat three to resist!
Goblin's resist roll: Results=5
Charm fails.

Jorn EXPLODES onto the scene and flings a charming look at Goblin Axeman! His cunning is 3, and your Charisma is 3. Whomever gets the larger roll suceeds.
Jorn's Charm roll: Results=6
Goblin's resist roll: Results=5
Success! Goblin Axeman is charmed, and sent into a raging fervor against his fellow goblins! (due to natural six)

Raith moves north.

Swiftwind fires an arrow at spearcarrier 2. His agility is 3, and yours is 5. He must beat 2 to dodge!
Goblin's dodge roll: Results=5
The arrow misses and flies into the mass of goblins climbing the stairs.

NPC ACTIONS

Goblin Axeman attacks Spearcarrier 2!
axeman's attack roll: Results=3
spearcarrier's block roll: Results=5
Attack is blocked.

Spearcarrier 2 attacks Goblin Axeman!
Spearcarrier's attack roll: Results=1
axeman's block roll: Results=6
Attack is blocked SPECTACULARILY (due to natural six) and goblin Spearcarrier takes 1 damage.

Remember what I said about new abilities though! get a main attribute to level ten and you unlock one!
