More with the shooting.

also, I have the same agility as a troll. :( wow, I'm a really slow elf. either that, or that troll is really quick.

The art is awesome btw.

Pencils could be made with erasers at both ends, but what would be the point?

AIGHT

Quote

PLAYER ACTIONS

Raith GALLANTLY approaches the troll!

Prothaa Throws a SHARPENED RIB at the pit edge!
Rolling D20: results = 19
The rib STREAKS through the air like a boomerang, and imbeds itself in the far wall of the pit.
The troll ignores it, it would seem his attention is focused only on Prothaa!

Dwarzga Comes in from out of nowhere and casts FIREBOLT!
It is undodgeable!
Guard troll takes 3 damage.

Swiftwind fires an arrow at Guard Troll!
Swiftwind has the same agility as Guard troll. You must beat his roll to succeed.
Swiftwind's aim roll: Results = 5
Troll's dodge roll: Results = 3
Sucess! The troll takes Five damage.

NPC ACTIONS
the Guard Troll, hindered by its attackers, stumbles one space forward before falling onto the trap!
The immense weight of the troll overwhelms the pressure plates, and the troll is pierced through by many spears. As the Weight of the troll presses harder on the plate, Something comes loose in the inner machinery.

The Whole trap falls apart spectacularily, throwing broken spears in every direction. An explosion throws the troll's body over the edge of the pit, and sends a chain reaction to the lever, spilling gears and oil all over the floor.

END COMBAT: THE PARTY HAS DEFEATED THE TROLL, AND BY EXTENSION DESTROYED THE TRAP

All participants gain five experience points!

I can confirm that the quotes don't work. However, you can supposedly do this:

But as you can see, it doesn't appear to work here for some reason.

ATTENTION

Prothaa and Raith have leveled up. Each has gained three Skill Points. Please specify which attributes you will put these points into. (new abilities are unlocked when you get your attributes to level 10!)

also, I have the same agility as a troll. :( wow, I'm a really slow elf. either that, or that troll is really quick.

You're only level one. You're not that EPIC yet.
And yeah, the troll is pretty fast.

The art is awesome btw.

Thanks! I dunno about Raith's pic though.. it was kinda hard to make a christmas-coloured greaser goblin with a mouth full of boar tusks look menacing instead of silly...

I like to think Raith can't fully close his mouth, talks with a lisp, and spits everywhere due to his dental enhancements.

I can confirm that the quotes don't work. However, you can supposedly do this:

hmm. How about this?

Nope, that just makes the text smaller...

[oh hardy har har. But really, I don't mind if you change anything if I'd be easier for you to draw.
As for upgrades: +2S, +1T]

Raith carefully walked over what was left of the trap (just in case) the ran over to the stairs giddy as a elf "Freedom! Oh sweet air, I missed you!"

I'll pick up one of the stray gears and travel forward, looking for enemies!

Dwargza speaks! "Eh, nice shot, for an Elf. Then again, who could miss a troll at this range. Elves, probably."

"Oh, sweat air? I've heard goblins are slow, but Brodin, that's just maiming the language," mocked Próthaa out of lack of someone else to mock.

QUEST PROGRESS

Dwarzga and Prothaa both gather three Stray gears. What little Macguyvers they are.

The Party ascends the stone staircase, and reach a vantage point at the top. From the peak of the staircase they can see into a opulent, torchlit throne room! At the far end of the room lies a Iron throne. Seated upon this throne is THE ORC WARLORD, surrounded by his elite guard. He grins at the party and pulls a lever situated next to his throne.

In an instant, the throne Moves from its place and reveals an iron door, likely to a panic room of some sort. The Warlord enters this door, and locks it.  At the same time, Metal bars rise up from the floor behind you, sealing you in the throne room with the goblin elite guard.

In front of you lies a great staircase leading down into the throne room. behind you lie metal bars preventing you from leaving. On the far side of the room stands the goblin Elite Guard, led by the goblin captain. They are waiting for you to initiate combat (enter combat range), though they will not wait long.

Yes, who among us has not enjoyed the musky, pungent fumes of sweat air?

NOTE

I'm having dinner soon, so I might go a bit without posting.
Just a reminder. I do have a life outside of this.

IN THE MEANTIME, Raith should probably apply his skill points before attacking the goblins.

Alright then, might as well get some pot shots in while they are waiting.

Swiftwind will sidestep into the door along the wall to the right, and take a shot at the 'captain' guard.

"It seems we have a choice to make, do we run up the stairs or try and see what treasures the warlord might have?" She raises another arrow and takes aim at the lead guard, "I vote for revenge for imprisoning us, and of course treasure." The ranger smiles pleasantly as the bow thwangs with the shot.

Próthaa takes a step back from the elite guard and charms the one left of the captain.
"I vote we go for the treasure, partially because I see no stairs to climb and partially because treasure is better than no treasure. After this, let's try breaking the lock on the door in the prison cell, just to see what's behind it."

Dwargza speaks! "Well, it's clear that the Warlord planned for us to escape along, as he plans for us to defeat this poor captain. I'm guessing he is only a magical hologram of some sort, sure to become a recurring protagonist! On that account..." *fwoooosh*

Actions: Firebolt spam at the captain!
