"Wait... What was behind that door in the cell? Let's check there first, maybe. Who agrees?" asks Próthaa.

raith was surprised by the rapid chain of events, be he shook himself out of it after Próthaa spoke "Sounds like a good idea. The key must have some use" Raith agreed, holding up the aforementioned key "But what I would like to know is: who the hell was that? And why did he take all the treasure? I wanted some gold...

Dwargza laughs and says "Serves ya all right, fer being so greedy, atta purple robed magic man should emerge from the ceiling and take it all away from ye! Anywho, onward, through the not-so-secret anymore trap door! We're gonna catch up that that blaggard, and we're gonna gut em like a cave fish! Ooorah! Also, he had a nice hat. I want that hat. It will be mine."

Actions: Onward!

QUEST PROGRESS

After ludicrous amounts of backtracking (oh and they pulled the lever near the throne to open those metal bars, just in case anyone asks about those) the Party reaches the cell they all met in.
Lots of memories back here (did they leave Rothgar there? he didn't seem to do much on the quest...)

The party drops into the cell, and Raith Unlatches the lock on the cell door. The Key's teeth break off and jam the lock, rendering them both unuseable (that's goblin tech for ya). The cell door swings open, revealing a long stone hall lined with other locked cells. The hall seems devoid of life... (it is likely all goblin guards were present in the climactic battle at the end)

Near the end of the hall the cavern widens, revealing a central courtyard of sorts. There are many little stone houses, and a raised drawbridge at the far end. Beyond the drawbridge lies a cave river connecting to a very wide tunnel which likely leads to the surface.

THE SESSION WILL END ONCE YOU EXIT THE CAVERN

Raith looks over the courtyard in disbelief "You mean we could have left this way this whole time. I, gah, beh, waaaaaaaaaaaaah" He place his head in his hand and cried a little. So much senseless fighting he could have avoided. Life is so unfair. "Well, I guess there no point in moping now. Let's see what's around."

Dwargza saiz "Eh, probably little Goblin brats and their mothers cowering in the huts, waiting for us to leave so they can repopulate! Bah!"

Actions: Check the cells for any other survivors. If they are too far gone to save, pre-Mortem cremation will have to do! Other than that, move forward and begin laying waste to the township with reckless glee when the rest of the party is done looting.

"Houses?" thought Próthaa out loud. "That might mean people we can kill and loot in their sleep. But should we spend the time? Or just bring the rest of the party out with us into the open air?"

QUEST PROGRESS

Raith start looking around the stone houses. Aside from tables, chairs and beds they are completely empty. No metal tools, no food, no currency. It is as if everything of value not in someone's pocket has been removed from the cavern. Even more eerie is the lack of women and children... The place seems devoid of life; haunted by emptyness. What has happened here?

nevertheless, Dwarzga casts firebolt at one of the stone houses. It creates a brilliant flash and lots of sparks, but nothing else as stone is not flammable.

You are standing in the courtyard. In front of you lies the drawbridge (which has an activation lever to the left of it). Behind you lies the hallway to your cell. To the left and right of you lie little stone houses.

"All the goblins escaped? Nevertheless, I'll I've outside along with Rothgar and the theif and those others. See ya there."
And with that, Próthaa pulls the drawbridge lever and heads into the outdoors.

I never said they escaped... just that they were gone.

also if no one else says otherwise I am having the party cross the drawbridge and leave the cavern.

Raith leaves though the draw bridge as well, since all else has been done.
