As Eridraal walks into the town along with the others, he quickly realizes that it's quiet,  too quiet, as he shifts his cloak to put his hand near his dagger, says in a low voice "Something's not right here, wheres everybody?"

He then carefully approaches the stands filled with grey fruit to get a better look at them.

"What time is it? maybe everyone is just still in bed" Raith said, trying to be the rational one. However, his own paranoia raised, and he gripped his axe and shield for just in case.

QUEST PROGRESS

Eridraal examines the grey fruit, assumeably for alchemical purposes.

Outwardly it resembles an apple, bearing its pale flesh and lack of leaves. It is cold to the touch, and feels like a hollow stone. It has no odour, and does not attract insects as abandoned fruit tends to.

((I was actually going to check for mold, but that works too))

He says out loud (not shouting of course, just enough for the others to hear him)"What the? rocks?", then speaks to the group "Either this town has gone insane or something very strange is going on here. Considering those people who attacked the caravan went this direction, we'd better keep our guard up.", as he speaks puts his senses on alert and quickly rejoins the others, careful to watch his back for anything deciding to burst out of the shop behind him. All the while keeping a tight grip on his steel dagger.

I remember I had something to sell... Hold on.
EDIT: (Should I sell my elven dagger or my silver dagger? I mean, the silver dagger's probably worth more, but is also useful against werewolves.)

Good luck finding someone to sell it to  :P

I hadn't planned on werewolves appearing in this... Let's just say that silver has a damage boost against all undead creatures.

Alright, I get back to the group proper and report my findings.

0_0 (i forgot to tell you if you noticed anything)

ACANTHUS SNEAKS AHEAD WITH CONSIDERABLE COWARDICE CAUTION

Staring foreward, he sees a winding path up towards the mountainside. You would assume this lead to the temple of order, but it is impossible to see through all the fog.

Acanthus waits in silence, and hears a sound on the wind... Distant murmurs, coming down from the mist-shrouded path.

"This isn't good..." He turns around, and tells the group of his findings. He fears that the town won't be quiet for much longer.

Acanthus puts his gloved hand firmly on his face, and with the other, slaps Cheddarius on the back of the head. "Do you want them to find us?! If you wanted to go play music, you should've joined a troupe of bards!" He sighs, and begins to sneak towards the temple.

Cheddarius plays a cheery song!

The plucking of the strings sounds muted as the sound reverberates through the fog. It is as if the very air around you is stifling anything lively or energetic... sucking the life out of it.

Acanthus puts his gloved hand firmly on his face, and with the other, slaps Cheddarius on the back of the head.

Acanthus reacts violently, despite the thick air disguising any sound the lute may have made.

Raith begins to rattle in his boots. "I have heard of stories of abandoned towns and thick fog like this, and most of them always involved the undead" the goblin whispered to the group. However, he put on a brave face, and follows Acanthus as silently as possible, axe and shield out.

((Acanthus, you called the player name, not the character name, heh))

Giving a disapproving look at Valdar at the same time Acanthus slapped Valdar up the head "Are you trying to attract enemies?? Now is not the time to act like a damn fool!"

Right after that, he hears a sudden sound on the wind and snaps his head towards the sound, which seems to be coming from off in the distance. "Maybe you would like to be in the front lines, bard?....."
