we'd have to find another way to make it different from shadowbolt though.

perhaps make it do a randum number between 1 and your cunning instead of simply your cunning?

Perhaps wizard characters have a chance to do something incorrect and miss a turn, and the player gets to specify what that would be (Dwarmin, for example, could ask that every time this happens you say it's from her going a bit corrupt and razing the land in the name of chaos or some such stuff).

If anyone wants to do a session today I'm willing to run it

(sorry I'm late, I had some unexpected events that kept me away from the computer...)

QUEST PROGRESS

after defeating the gnomes and leaving the upturned wagon, the party continues along through the mountains.

Over the next ridge they can see a tiny village shrouded in fog. The village surrounds a large temple dug out of the mountainside. From your vantage point you can see three entrances into the village. The nearest entrance leads to an are clustered with workshops. The second nearest entrance leads to a main path through the village center. It is lined with little shops. The farthest path leads to a few sheds and cottages.

((Shouldn't my character already have had some cash on him? He was travelling around after all, it's an afterthought but whatever.))

The second path.

WELL OKAY (sorry I'm late... the unread replies function is bugging out a bit)

You approach the village, entering the fog bank that surrounds it. Reaching the central gate, you see that the village is deserted, cast over with an eerie quiet. Behind you lies the gate leading out. In front of you lies a dusty path leading into the center of town (shrouded in mist). To the right lie several shops and stands filled with strange, grey fruit. To the left lie several butcher shops. Their windows are all closed.

Acanthus goes into stealth mode and sneaks ahead, noting anything odd.
