"hmm, if someone is willing to give me a leg up, I say we check out that trap door up there." Silverwind tells the others(assuming we are all in the same cell) while checking her equipment to make sure she has everything needed for life... and adventure of course. "Oh, and I'm Silverwind by the way."

"So we be' forming a living ladder eh? I wonder, who gets to be on the bottom?" Dwargza adds.

"The name's Dwarza, and I do think we'll need to work together..for now. One of you Goblins can probably figure out that lock, eh?"

Swiftwind, The female elf ranger. ;)
"Oh, and I'm Silverwind by the way."
hmm...
Dwargza adds.
"The name's Dwarza"
I have to ask, are you getting your names wrong on purpose? Or are your characters all using fake names?

"So we be' forming a living ladder eh? I wonder, who gets to be on the bottom?"

Are you volunteering to be the bottom of the ladder or just asking questions?

Oh, I forgot.
"Hello," Próthaa says in an obviously fake accent. "My name is, uh, John. John Smith."

Mine may, or may not have been on purpose. :D I haven't decided yet.

Meanwhile, how tall are these cells? How many people are going to be required to reach the trap door, or is it just a normal room height where one knee to stand on might be enough?

ahem.

There is a hole in the cieling ten feet up, with a thin wooden trapdoor over it.

It should only take someone standing on someone else's shoulders to reach it.

Dwargza may have volunteered, but I'm not quite sure...

sorry, been a long day, and comprehension is a little low on reading.

"So Dwarza, up for lending your shoulders as a step ladder?" The elf adjusted her tunic slightly, "They look sturdy enough to hold."

WHETHER DWARZ(G)A WILLS IT OR NOT, she is now supporting an elven ranger with her shoulders.
From this new vantage point, Swift/Silverwind can peer out through the trapdoor:

You see a long, stone hallway. The midpoint of the hallway is lined with pressure plates which are probably hooked up to a trap. There is a lever on the wall at the far side of the Pressure plates. At the far end of the hallway is a door guarded by two armoured goblins armed with spears. They are facing the door, and do not see you yet!

"Lets skip introductions. This isn't happy hour" Raith quickly climbs the Dwargza/swiftwind ladder, careful not to knock the two down. After squirming out from the trapdoor, he lays himself flat against the floor to make himself as undetectable as possible, reaching back down the cell "I'll pull you guys up, just be quiet"

Right then, assuming we get the group up into the hallway, my next question is, do I have any arrows for the bow I have?

Swiftwind and Raith are currently in the hallway 1 Z-level above the cell.
Everyone else is still in the cell.

The goblins have yet to notice you. If they get close to you they may initiate combat, but while they are still unaware you can attack one of them by surprise, assuming you have a ranged weapon.

do I have any arrows for the bow I have?

check your inventory on the Second Post.

I climb into the hallway.
"Hi. I'm an elven priest, Próthaa," I whisper. "How about we try luring the goblins into the trap? We eliminate the trap and the goblins that way..."

I climb up and whisper:
"Salutations, I think the most expedient course would be to try to stealthily move up behind up behind the green one's and try to take them all by surprise."

"Ok, why don't do that after we get everyone else out. If those traps go off, the rest will swarm us like beak dogs to meat"

You didn't whisper!

At the mention of the word "meat", one of the goblins' ears perk up! He alerts the other guard, who swiftly pulls down the lever. Both goblins leave through the door as the sound of grinding gears indicates that the trap has been activated!
