CUTSCENE

An arrow of light streaks through the air, splitting through Shaft's ghost. As his spectral form falls apart, he is heard distantly wailing in defeat.

Dwarzga's charm is dispelled.

As shaft's soul dissipates, an ethereal mist cloaks the room. In the gloom and the haze another body appears. Shaft's mortal form, soulless and enraged, has returned!

When is your estimate for an update, if (this is a big if; just this weekend, I got sick and my Monster Defence update was delayed) nothing goes wrong?

Also, your Cacame watercolor is fantastic.

well, we're still waiting for 100killer9 to post. That, and, most bay watchers are busy with the New Dwarf fortress right now... And we usually don't run sessions on the weekend.

(dwarmin is taking a hiatus from this game, as his mouse broke)

Updates to this thread are generally a lot more frequent when we're out of combat...

CUTSCENE

Shaft's soulless body begins to falter as the grip of death comes over it. In the end he gives in, collapsing in the corner as the formerly chaotic temple becomes quiet and still once more. (and the floor tiles stopped being purple!)

EVERYONE GETS SIX EXP. EVERY PARTY MEMBER, I DON'T EVEN CARE!
Rothgar leveled up (as if that matters anymore, goddamn..)
Dwarzga reached level 7! you gain 4 skill points.
Acanthus reached level 4! 3 skill points.


SHAFT'S LOOT:
-Archer's mantle (+3 to aim rolls)
-Boots of cowardice (+3 to dodge rolls)
-30 gold
-Elven Dagger (uses agility VS strength for attack rolls)

As the room returns to normal, the unconcious elves begin to wake up.
The now concious druid turns to speak to you:

"very good. Thankyou for saving me from that madman... now if you'll give me the key, I can repair the conduit. The chaos will be cleansed from our wood, and the path east should become clear."
