Generally i find game too easy to cheat, so i dont edit raws, savescum or use any 3rd-party tools. But i do exploit tricky mechanics like unlimited dump area or perpetual motion power. Oh, and economics:off, since i prefer socialism.

I can't wait until the next version, with some real medicine, so we can turn off the economy and get some socialized healthcare!

I usually don't "cheat" any besides messing with max population (save the fps!), but for my current fortress I've turned off invasions so I can focus on building. And room rent because it's annoying to have my nice rooms go empty.

Don't really savescum often because I'm too lazy to save often, and hate dealing with the mess of seasonally generated files

I turn off trapavoid. I hate it when they avoid the traps Nothing else, unless you call enough marksmen to make sure the enemy never gets to said traps a cheat. You could call it an exploit though.

I almost always mod my game so I can have an infinite number of admantium like metals(without value(I hate hundreds of immigrants)), I use reactions to produce whatever wealth I need, I use magma smelters and these reactions to produce almost all the metal in a fort.
I kill off immigrants to improve framerate, I mod my dwarves to have [SPEED:1] so they move at an implausible rate. and I gave my dwarves [DAMBLOCK:20] so I can kill off hundreds of annoying animals that would easily kill my dwarves.

I recently retried a fort twice because I got a skill wrong the first time, and the second time a dwarf died while moving the wagon's contents to a safer area.

Not much, as far as cheating goes.

Only way I really 'cheat' is when I buy entire caravans with two or three ☼Dwarven Syrup Roasts☼, which isn't really cheating but still seems rather abusive. So easy to make, yet so valuable...

Yep, I just don't see the fun in having every single thing given to you...it just...argh its like butchering everything that makes the game fun.

But hey, I guess people like having materials handed to them and take out anything that will make the game require a little thought.

So far the only cheating I've done is to edit certain soils to be sand sources.  There was one fortress where I needed glass and there was not a grain of sand to be had
