Post Apocalyptic Tactical Game - Tactical Map, GO!
« on: February 28, 2010, 01:57:48 pm »

You are the red circle, you are the leader of a small team of rebels (the green cirlces). Humanity has lost track of the year but it is about 2080, give or take about ten years. Back in 2034 America declared war against Russia, this quickly escalated into a nuclear war and the majority of the world was targeted by fusion bombs and various chemical bombs. Since then 'The Coalition' as they are known have risen to world power. They began to take people from the wastelands for an unknown reason and you and your rebels are the next target.

Here's how it works, you can give commands to your squad and do things yourself (using the generic '>command'). You will have to manage food and equipment to survive, and use it appropriatly. You consume one unit of food per in game day per member in squad and use other equipment as needed.

That is, we want to follow the road if nothing is around, but we don't want to go back where we came if there are Coalition goobers rustling around there.

> Look around to the horizon, what do we see in each direction?

You look around: to the east you can see a large clock tower in the distance, known to the loacals as Huge Ben, to the west you see the a small village that you have no knoledge of, to the south you see a small dead forest and to the north there are mountains. The mountains are known as the black mountains, they were formed in 2035 when the bombs were dropped on this part of The Brittan Islands

> Think: where did we come from? Is that place not hospitable anymore?

You remember back a few days to when you left your town, it is only small and is called Rugelet. You left when you heard the Coalition were headed there to find you and take you away, you know not of it's state now.

You gaze at Huge Ben in the distance, and decide to head for there, it will be a few days or so before you can reach it though, so you will have to scavenge some food and water along the way.

You come across a small ruin of a house, waht will you do?

You position your team either side of the door and kick the door open, seeing a body in the corner of the room and several guns lying around the place you shoot at the body and then spray off the rest of your clip for good measure. The rest of your team slowly trickles in throug the dor as you investigate what you have shot at: a dead body, killed by several bullet wounds to the chest, plus your bullet wounds if he wasn't dead, you can't tell how long he's been dead as you do not posses the medical skill, perhaps another member of your team does?

From a glance around the room you see a door to the south-west, and on the counter there are two guns, three packs of ammo and several small metal objects.

"Yo any of you guys know any thing about medicine? If so how long this stiff been here?"

Two guys cover the door to out side and the other two open the door the same way, only less trigger happy. Inventory the guns and ammo.

Also check the body for other wounds, especially burns or stings.

Does it look like he could have killed himself?

Check south door for marks, listen at it, if you don't hear anything kick it open and back up so everyone can see if anything comes out and shoot it.

But if it's not hostile, give it a second to tell us where the diamonds are buried before we shoot it.

But if it's not hostile, give it a second to tell us where the precious metals, oil, precious gems, weapons cache, are buried before not shoot it.

You tell two of your teammates to open the door and go inside. They do and it seems to be an empty room with a staircase leading downwards.

Quote
"Yo any of you guys know any thing about medicine? If so how long this stiff been here?"

You ask your team whether any of them know anything about medicine. Sam responds, saying how she has basic mecial training given to her by the village doctor. You proceed to ask her how long the man has been dead, she responds saying that it has been less than a few hours since he died.

Go take that Amsel Protecta sitting on the table.

You take a closer look at the guns on the table, they have both had some of the parts taken out and are lying on the table. You decide that until you can put these guns back together there is no point in carrying them around.

Does it look like he could have killed himself?

You and Sam check the body for other wounds. There are a few small bruises - although this can be excpected in the harsh wasteland - but other than that there are no visible injuries.

You hear a faint noise coming from down the steps, you are unsure of what it is.
