I have also seen the Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics bundle for sale on the regular shelf at Best Buy. Do not know the price, however, nor do I know if they still do this. This would have been right around Christmas, and it's likely they're  updated their stock since then.

While most of us have probably pirated something in the course of our lives, it's probably best if we don't actively encourage people who want to buy something to do it.

I buy old stuff all the time, because it's worth it. I own my own digital copies of XCOM and Jagged Alliance 2, for example (though, I had to torrent JA2 afterward anyway because the Steam version rejected the mods I wanted to use).

I would recommend buying the Fallout games from GoG; there's absolutely no DRM or external service to deal with, the prices are good, and you get some nice supplementary material (like their compiled version of the Fallout Bible, if you care about that sort of thing). They run a pretty nice service there. Sometimes the prices aren't as good as Steam, and their catalog is still small, but six bucks is a pretty great price, and you can download the game pretty much wherever you are as long as you can log in to your account on their website.
