The traditionalists were dismayed to find that there was not enough food left for seconds after they stuffed their faces. Some blamed the Hippos, and forced them out of the area. But the Hippos were not alone. Fully half of the Dandy Lions of the Dandelion Plains supported Hippoism, and followed the Hunting Hippos. They turned their gazes north east, where the other malcontents had migrated.
The original travelers, meanwhile, were having issues of their own. When the scouts returned, claiming not to have found anything of interest, the Alpha Lion flew into a rage. He attacked a scout, but was defeated. This humiliation divided the group, those who supported the Alpha and those who supported the scout. After much deliberation and one contest of will, the group decided to separate and head in different directions, deeper into the Fluffy Forest.
!-!Event!-! Disaster! A massive tornado strikes M15 causing animals to scatter and tumble through the wind. Luckily, no Dandy Lions were injured.

One group of lions moves from L14 to K13, revealing more grassland and forest. They take time to hunt, and bring down 3 groups of prey. [+3 food]
The other group in L14 heads north to L13, finding a group of heavily forested hills with the source of a river flowing northwest, and more coastline to the southeast. The group sets out to gather building materials, and manages to bring back a unit of wood from the forest. [+1 wood]
Three groups and the trained hippos move north into the recently vacated L14, reclaiming the food resources left there by the initial scouting group.
The group of hippos heads into the forest to hunt. The find an abundance of deer, giving enough meat for three groups. [+3 food]
Meanwhile another group of Lions in L14 also sees these strange forest deer, and has another idea for their use. However, all attempts to tame the elusive creatures fail.
The other two groups look around the forest for fallen logs, and branches. the first group finds a fair amount, bringing in three units, while the other matches the amount returned. [+6 wood]
Taking the medicinal leaves the lions ponder ways to process them into a usable salve. Eventually a plan of crushing the plants between two rocks is used, and a flat rock is used to hold the resulting paste. However without any sort of storage container the salve will eventually rot away. [-3 medicine leaves, +3 Healing Salve[V]
Looking for more animals to tame, the lions come across a large herd of purple wildabeests. After some herding work and such the lions split off some tenders and two useable groups of beests are created. [+2 animal units(beests)]
The last remaining group of lions decides to look for useful materials in the grasslands. It was almost as if the area was waiting for someone to look, they find a huge amount of dried grasses. [ +5 thatch ]
