This back fired spectaculary

Yeah, this article is about video gaming apparently leading kids astray with satanic themes. But this only makes me want to play these games more.

They even found a guy called Mr. Christian to interview.

"Other games with satanic themes are Dante’s Inferno, Guitar Hero, Devil Summoner, Koudelka, Trapt, Bayonetta, and Darksiders."

Guitar Hero has satanic themes?  I don't remember satanic themes.

Everyone knows Rock'n'Roll is the siren song of the Devil.

There's probably some Mehttal band in there called "Slaves of Infernal Darkness and Torment" or something, featuring songs from their albums "We Want You To Kill Everyone" and "Why Jesus Is A Pussy".  If my recollection of the tracklist is at all accurate.

That guy should play The You Testament, I'm sure he'd enjoy it's wholesome relation of Biblical teachings for vidjagamers.

That was one of the most hilarious news articles I've read in quite some time.

Another game requires players to sell their soul to the devil and rewards them for “killing unbaptized infants.”

Can someone please identify this game for me?

Hmm. Apparently I missed the controversy surrounding that one. I guess that's what I get for giving up on Penny Arcade.

It just sounded so crazy that it could be made up. I wouldn't have put it past that article to be blatantly making shit up.

Now it's just another reason for me to stop putting off buying a PS3, I suppose...

“Role playing games (RPGs) have progressively gotten worse over the years,” he said. “It is difficult to find a role playing game that is not ‘T’. . . . There have been some ‘M’ rated ones where all kinds of decadence is allowed.”

What was Final Fantasy 13 rated again? Oh yeah, teen.  That is  the most recent, most big name  RPG release in the past year and I nailed it with one guess. The Suikoden series has also always been rated T.

I believe the statement that you quoted was meant to say that nearly every RPG is 'T' and not 'G' and this is horrible bad. Which is extremely stupid.

Virtual decadence, people. Virtual, disgusting, lying-on-your-back-getting-fed-peeled-grapes-except-only-in-the-game-not-real-life is a push of a button away. We need to protect the children!

It's almost as if they think a 'T' rating means that the game is meant for teenagers only. (EX: They said 'T for teens' instead of 'T for Teen')
