Games I should get

I start this thread for advice, not only for me, but for others. For others to get advice as to wether they should get games they are other wise undecided about.

I start with a simple question, Should I by Darwinia from steam for £5.99?

Skim GOG.com for things that you might like. Everything from Psychonauts to Fallout to Freespace 2 to Gothic to Sacrifice to Jagged Alliance to Perimeter...

If you've played Dwarf Fortress (and have thus become accustomed to steep learning curves cliffs, I recommend Aurora, a space 4x game where you pretty much have as much control over your empire as you do over your fort here in DF.

Those 3 are the best.

Earthbound, Final Fantasy 6, Star Fox 64.  Although you may have to obtain these through less than legal means :/  Darn Wii's not being SENS and N64 compatible...

Galcon fusion is quite fun.

So is Mount and Blade.

I think it should be here. It is a rather general discussion in my opinion :)

About Darwina, questionable. I would not buy it, but I hardly ever buy games nowadays. If you always buy your games I'd say buy it if it is not more than one hour of work to you. (As a general rule I count that you have to have at least 3 fun hours out of one work hour, that, or you must really, really be hyped about something ;)).

GOG.com is great if you want value for your workhours, they provide great gameplay for a good price. Sacrifice is particulary great if you can play it online with friends :D

Mind if I ask about a game I'm wondering about in this thread?

Nah, this is a discussion about "Other" computer games. Should be in the other games section.

It doesn't really matter, but its just to stop these boards being cluttered up by these sort of threads.
