I'm talking about the bronze colossus. It's supposed to be made entirely of bronze.
But really he's just a softie inside. They all are really. When megabeasts come to your fort you never welcome them inside and give them a hug, do you. You heartless bastards...

Decisions!:

1.  Use the beserking sword?  Giving it to Minsc would make him do something we could choose to have him do anyway.  It's very dangerous to use, though, as if we can't get away from him if he turns on us he could easily cut the rest of the party to pieces with it.  The sword also counts as cursed, so we can't easily change our minds about this.

2.  Who gets the Manual of Bodily Health?  Increasing constitution is useful for pretty much everyone, as that means more hit points per level.  That effect only starts at 15 and above (and the 17 and above increases only count for certain classes), though, so keep that in mind.

3.  Who gets the Cloak of the Wolf?  Note that it replaces all attacks with a melee one, and causes most spellcasting to fail, but also gives the wearer high strength and dexterity (though it would actually reduce Minsc's strength and Imoen's dexterity), along with high speed.  Its usefulness is limited, but there.

The sword... Maybe keep it and give it to Minsc it at some future point it seems necessary. My immediate thought for the manual was to give it to Angry Dave since if he dies the game ends, but since you are reloading if things go badly it may be better to give it to someone else, so I don't know. Cloak seems like it could be useful for Kahlid once he is back with us.

[Jreengus:  Well, with Dave in the front line it's more that, when things go pear-shaped, it's as likely as not he'll end up dead as well.  Don't worry, though, there'll be plenty of dead people in this update...  :-\ ]

Precisely.  She already has 29 hit points, a +1 quarterstaff, darts of wounding, a large collection of level 1 and 2 spells, high dexterity (which improves her armour class), and two good wands.  She'll be able to contribute quite a lot still.

That too, but be cautious or risk Imoen unleashing havoc on the poor souls inhabiting Faerun.  ;D

//I still remember doing Mage/Kensai builds in ToB for uber cheese-ness. Glass cannon, but soloable through the entire game. (I did one game with only Viconia for companion -- it was kind of fun picturing these two at-odds spirits rampaging through the world, bickering but cross dependent, until they forged a life of peace/Godhood.)

[psyn:  OW.  Yeah, that would certainly break things pretty badly.  :P]
