Wait, the red potion has the death leaf in it. I'm going to guess it's also poisonous.

Ah.
Maybe we should get some more efficient way to test potions. Hire drug testers?

You can make one potion on the spot to cure a patient.
You can test the effects of potions on animals without using them up if you make them beforehand.
If somebody wants to buy a potion, they will only buy from your current selection.
You may not have what they want, but you can try to sell them a deadly poison instead of a cure for bad breath at the cost of credibility, but remember, credibility brings in customers.
Sort of.
Low credibility keeps them away, high is a buffer for experiments and pawning off things as something else entirely.

Well, we need fame. Any publicity is good publicity.
Pawn off the poison potion to the next customer, unless it's a child. That should make our credibility go down, but our (in)famy go way up.
Is this good?

No. If the customer is dying and we have no way to treat him, then we do that.

I vote to make 2 salves using Colour Leaf and 2 potions using Color Leaf and Blue Root.
Identify the mushrooms.
find more herbs.

No point in making potions out of one item.
It's just as effective to simply apply the herb.
Even though it's not mentioned as a process or anything, you get oil from colour leaves, make tea out of blue root, stuff like that, automatically when needed.
Potions are for mixing ingredients.

I say find a bunch more Mad Hatter, advertise it as a recreational drug, and become the local shroom cartel with your legions of rats processing your drugs.

Have the assistant go to the market to sell the poison potion. Maybe some assassin will find a use for it. In the meantime, we need money for more vials.
Is THIS good?

I think colour leaf would make a better recreational drug.
Mad hatter is painful and stuff. Like a bad trip but without the horrible flashbacks.

Anyway, I do believe we have enough material for a new round:

You feed the unidentified shroom to one of the rats.
It has absolutely no effect.
You also give a drop of the milky red potion to a rat.
It convulses and shrieks wildly before falling over dead.

You make two ulcer cures with colour leaf and blue root.
You spend the rest of the day collecting herbs, focusing mainly on mad hatter.
You collect 5 mad hatters and 2 colour leaves.

Alvin sells the poison potion at a shady inn in town for 50gp.
He spends the rest of the day doing jobs for 18gp.
Alvin buys ten vials.

You receive no customers.

What happened to our ulcer cures? And how much does it cost to upgrade the shop?

Anyway, I say we give some herbs and the ulcer cures to the assistant, then go into town to sell them(and advertise for us)

We need to find some addictive substance, and throw it in with some color leaf in a potion. THC is good, nicotine better. I'm not to knowledgeable on heroin, does anyone know if the poppies contain the substance?
