Mike Mayday Tileset Question
« on: February 23, 2010, 11:38:59 pm »

The tileset by Mike doesn't mod the game at all, right?
As in, it will be save compatible with the vanilla DF?

IIRC, the only change it makes is allowing all types of stone for economic/construction use.

And it adds a CATMOUTH I think.

I don't think it breaks saves.  You will Clean out your data/objects folder to make catmouth and the economic stones thing work.

Yeah, it's not save compatible if you generated the world etc I'm pretty sure...

You'll need to do modifications.

It also removes the strange letters (like i's with Umaluts), and that breaks saves.

Most mods probably have the catmouth fix anyway.

I've never had problems dropping saves  from the vannila DF into my mayday install.
