Hey doom, (and everyone else!) make no explanation of what Pogonology is, please.  Tarn and I want to make everyone look it up!

Physics, psychology/sociology, and chemistry.

I'd love to see how DF's physics-without-physics is taught in dwarven schools. "Well, uh, we get really drunk and... yeah. Wedon't know either."

You should increase the maximum number of votes by at least 13. I think 3 simply isn't enough.

Medicine, Meteorology, and Genetics. Three subjects that could lead directly into discussion of new features, such as golden salve, lightning storms, and naked mole bears.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Reading this poll made me realize that by now Toady probably has enough general knowledge of everything to become a 20x Jeopardy champion.  Then I recalled that Jeopardy is a stupid game about name-checking pop culture figures and solving stupid word-riddles, and the idea sort of collapsed on itself.

Physics - Getting things to float in liquids

Chemistry - Getting things to float in liquids and then blow up.

Psychology & Sociology - The effects of things floating on liquids and/or blowing up on their observer(s) and/or victim(s).

(Weird science)
Plastic tubes and pots and pans
Bits and pieces and
Magic from the hand
We're makin'

(Weird science)
Things I've never seen before
Behind bolted doors
Talent and imagination

(Weird science)
Not what teacher said to do
Makin' dreams come true
Living tissue, warm flesh

(Weird science)
Plastic tubes and pots and pans
Bits and pieces (and)
Bits and pieces (and)

CHORUS
(Bits of) my creation--Is it real?
It's my creation--I do not know
No hesitation--No heart of gold
Just flesh and blood--I do not know

From my heart and from my hand
Why don't people understand
My intentions . . . . Oooh, weird . . . .
Weird science!!

(Weird science)
Magic and technology
Voodoo dolls and chants
Electricity
We're makin'

(Weird science)
Fantasy and microchips
Shooting from the hip
Something different
We're makin'

(Weird science)
Pictures from a magazine
Diagrams and charts
Mending broken hearts (and makin')

(Weird science)
Something like a recipe
Bits and pieces . . . .
Bits and pieces . . . .

Psychology/Sociology, Physics, and Mathematics.

I've got to see what Mathematics entails.  I really have no idea how it will apply, which makes me very curious.

Physics and Mathematics, because my friends would kill me otherwise.  ;D

And, lastly, genetics. Because creating mutant carpephants is fun.

I chose astronomy just out of curiosity.  We never see any stars in the game so I'm wondering what effect they have.  Also chose chemistry.  I want to know once and for all if using lead booze barrels will eventually make the elves go insane.
