I love the new UI, but what was so horrible about the old one's using IE?  I didn't have anything horrible happen with mine.  I mean, I know IE is Microsoft and therefore automatically out to get your money and do Satan's bidding, but I didn't have any problems with it.

Its nothing against microsoft, i just have it when it opens IE, since i always use firefox, and would much rather it open a new tab in there.

The reasons to dump IE are myriad; poor stability, performance, security flaws out the wazoo, incompatability with web standards. And this only scratches the surface.

I'm not aboard the Applecart, but I do agree, IE sucks, and too many hackers, phishers, and etc. know their way around IE code too well, it's actually considered old by their standards.

This could also be a reason behind the mass hijackings as well. IE coding used to their advantage.
