Island Adventure! Let's try this again

Hey guys, since Cheddarius got tired of this, I'm taking over.

The island is fairly small. There is a large dormant volcano in the center. Outside the volcano is a large forest, with many fruit groves inside it. The forest is populated heavily with animals. Most are not aggressive. Outside the forest is a plains area. On the far outside there are beaches and cliffs with many interesting rock formations.

YESH

Dances With Clams looks around wildly as the ground shakes, but when nothing bad happens he runs off toward the coast.

16 hours hunting clams.

.15kg + 40% x 16 = 3.3kg meat (placed in granary)
.015kg + 40% x 16 = 0.3kg clam shells (hidden in my Holy Cove on the coast)

160 XP puts me at Skilled Hunter: 170/140. I spend 140 to become Proficient Hunter: 30/150

The XP is right? The way that table is laid out confuses me every time.

Kadzar works on the hut for 16 hours. It is now 47/200 kg done. He gains 16 experience in building. With the experience of 15 he gained last but was not given and the experience this turn: 15+16+64=95 building experience.
Also, are any Islanders available for adoption, or is it like cats, where they pick you?

I thought we each got just one, but we could tell them what to do.

Or do you mean a new player joining? Cheddarius just let whoever join and take over a blank islander.

You don't need to do the math anymore.
Islanders are not available for adoption, but you can have them do stuff for you.
I've decided on a first-come-first-served priority with the islanders, so take 'em fast.

I've been working on refining the skills, and higher building skill will help you work faster, similar to the new weaponsmithing.
That means that you will eventually be able to outbuild the islanders.
No bonus for dabbling-no adjective, and +1 kg per hour per skill level after that, so an adept builder will work as fast as an islander.

For now though, ignore much of whatever is in the first post.
I'll be going through and refining it once I get the skills worked through first.

Yeah, like I said, not gonna happen.
No sentients for pets.

If you get a building all to yourself and some chains or rope, you could conceivably kidnap an islander, but not as a pet.

Check all of the traps, make 3 stone knifes, spend the rest of the time fishing.

Farm and All that stuff...
If there is any buildings that need help building I will.
And I will cook what ever needs cooking...

Make it so that the Farm takes up most time at a 2:1:1 ratio of work...

Once you get your prison shack set up, yes you can breed humans.
Keep in mind though, it will take about...

270 turns for the gestation, however many for actually getting the stuff required, and stuff.
Then, you have to remember that the islanders are of unspecified gender.
therefore, they are incapable of breeding in the first place.

And Cript, your herbs are still there, they've just been renamed.
Check the healing skill info.
