You mean the exact same terrain (river and magma pipe and stuff)?

Wow :o

No, I meant I saw the map that YOU uploaded on the map archive before you posted this. Good call on posting it in the forums ;)

Ah-ha.  I though you meant you had somehow genned up the same map as me in DF!  :D

Actually the DFMA map went up only a few minutes before the thread - both yesterday.

Hmmm somewhere there is a post showing an effective way of using Fireimps to attack raiders while keeping them safe from melee...

Let me go look for it...

EDIT:
Ah here it is...
Couldn't find the Fourm Post, can't remember where it was. But I found the Movie...

Don't worry, I engineered that :).  I'm doing a lot of terraforming around the wall with channelling, obsidian casting, and collapsing to make it effective with as little material as possible.

Collapsing whole hills causes wierd behavior, though  :-\.  All the trees on the hill turned into black sand, and while the hill is marked as black sand, when I carve ramps into it they're felsite ramps, but don't produce felsite rocks.  And all the ramps on it turned into black sand.  Funny :).

EDIT: Oh, wait, the ramps didn't turn into sand, they're still hanging up there in mid air  :P.

Turned into sand? Weird, but if they turned in to sand, that could be useful for someone on a sand-less map! This place is lookin' good, and i can't wait for more updates.

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

I thought of that, but I think it was just because the hill under them was sand.  Perhaps they were even just destroyed, leaving the sand exposed.

I've nearly finished the First Bank of Tadsodel, that'll be up soon :).

Several wild camels are chained in rooms at the top of the tower.  They have calves, which grow up and eventually try to escape the tower.  By doing this, they trigger the pressure plates, which open the bridge and drop them several floors into the death chamber.

Ramps in DF are these sort of hyperdimensional monstrosities capable of allowing you to walk upwards in whatever direction seems plausible at the time

Pssh, at least they aren't merpeople  ;D.

Anyway, first update in many game years!  No new gadgets, but a new map with some fancy buildings and a video of the Wildfire Cannon firing.
