My idea for a Dwarven Rapture.

After you reach a random date your dwarves will be raptured to heaven and leave all the humans, elves, and goblins behind to live through Armok-geddon (the time when Armok drowns the world in blood)

2 Things...

1. This should be moved to suggestions

2. Somebody draw me a picture! I want an epic desktop background of this.

Here I was expecting plans for an underwater objectivist megafort.

Same here.

One of the toads decided to go for a swim in the moat - presumably because he could path through the moat to my dwarves. He is not charging in, just loitering in the moat.

The toad is having a nice relaxing swim.
The goblin mounted on his back, however, is drowning.

It's been done at least once.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Dito. The best thing is, with all the psychological stuff in the game, this could be! All you'd need is an underwater fort where all the dwarfs come from a civ with an ALTRUISM-level of 'Views helping others as an imposition on own needs to get along with others.' , an obsessive preference to consume 'sea slug extract' and a tantrum spiral.

On the actual topic though, why would you want your dwarfs to leave you and your wonderful fort, if you can just burn the whole surface to cinders with magma? Make your fort a mega-project of heavenly comfort, and initiate your very own divine dooms day!
