Okay, first off, read this.
So yes, I will argue with you, and it's because of the way you approach things like this, not because Family Guy is my own personal Hell. Explaining why I don't like it is simply something I did to prove to you that there are people out there willing to argue logically. Perhaps it'll rub off on you.
Now read it again.

Do you understand why I made the post now? Let me answer that for you.
Explaining why I don't like it is simply something I did to prove to you that there are people out there willing to argue logically. Perhaps it'll rub off on you.
See? You claimed this:
Family guy is hilarious.
Your all like "Yah sure I laughed at it and had a grand old time, but the show is really stupid and the jokes dont go along with the plot so I dont like it."
Seriously you people need to get off your high horses.
You also didn't explain why we were wrong and how we were all stuck up about it, apart from a snide comment that I'm not sure you didn't write before even
reading the thread, because people clearly explained why they didn't like it, and they certainly didn't say that they love watching it but also hate it (and could you please explain how the hell you figured out/made up that little oxymoron?). You made no sense. You
always do this, jumping into a discussion simply to play the devils advocate for no reason I can discern. Perhaps you simply enjoy opposing people or getting into arguments? I don't want to jump to any conclusions here; that would be wrong, wouldn't it? So I decided, hey, why the hell do I have to put up with your drive-by disagreement? I wanted you to provide clarification and provide it
now. So, mainly to prevent you claiming that I had no idea what I was talking about (don't pretend you wouldn't, you're the person who claimed that 'you guys just don't know how to have fun'), I decided to tell you
exactly why I don't like Family Guy. I do not have anything to prove (and once again could you explain your reasoning behind
that bizarre little statement?). I simply wanted to make it clear to you I didn't just 'not know how to have fun'. If I seemed particularly vindictive or harsh about it (and yes, I think that I did), it's because I'm currently taking the day off due to pain and inflammation in a place which, in a perfect world, the words pain and inflammation would never apply, ever. So my temper's a bit short right now and I am in no mood to pussyfoot around here.
And yet you
still seem to miss some key points in my little tirade, namely:
I'm not a fucking 10 year old, so if the show wants to aim for the lowest common denominator, don't whine when I call it out on it.
But that's one thing I can give to Family Guy. They don't whine, they laugh at their own stupidity and I can respect that in a roundabout way.
Get it? I don't care overmuch about Family Guy, and I ignore it when I can, and I do appreciate that Seth admits that he relies too much on lolrandum cuts to unrelated things. Family Guy can go be on TV far away from me should I wish it and that suits me fine. The
main problem I had, and I'm kind of confused that you missed this, is that:
You, CowOfDoom, seem incapable of believing people could possibly find something you like bad, and then set about trying to defend it with claims that are a hair's breadth from "You just don't get it!"
That's my main problem right there. Your ridiculous means of getting into arguments, which usually breaks down into the following.
"No, you're wrong!"
And then someone asks for a qualification to that statement.
"Because it's funny/bad/awesome/I like it! And you have to be wrong because my opinion differs to yours!"
Even now you're not responding to this argument, or even trying to explain why you think we're wrong for not liking Family Guy (apparently being critical is wrong? I'll add that to the list of things I'd like you to explain), but instead you focus on how much I don't like Family Guy (which is not overmuch, I feel) and how this is, for some reason, a dreadful thing (and I'll add that to the list too).
Tl;dr Cow has always annoyed me and I'm not going to pull any punches calling him out on exactly why he annoys me, because I am in quite a lot of pain and therefore angry, and don't see why I should even if I wasn't.
