My favorite was when my elf was attacked by a polar bear, and had one of her arms torn off. So she killed it with her arm. I've heard of that stuff happening before, but had never managed it. Then shortly thereafter she was chased by wolves, and being injured and missing an arm, had to jump into part of a glacier that was melting because it was daylight, and...I forget after that.

But killing the polar bear with her arm was awesome.

I haven't played a lot of Adventure Mode.  However, today I was showing DF to my friend Steve, and decided to show him Adventure Mode so he could get an idea of the brutality involved.  We made a human called Steve Anusballs the Anus of Balls.  Just about every fight we had involved sticking a spear in someone's hand and twisting it until they died.

i moded wolf packs to be 400 to 700 strong, there were mounds fo bodys,seas of blood and mountins of legs.

The town I just started in was apparently built directly next to a chasm. So, when my adventurer began his journey, the town was already under immediate assault by a large number of rats, ratmen, and batmen.

I'm talking all-out war, here!  I killed like six of them myself. I accidentally attacked a child, causing the dwarves to kill me. Not too long after, A Farmer punched an Antman, causing his abdomen to explode.

Edit: Oh crap, some Frogmen, Olmmen, a Lizardman, and a Giant Olm just showed up too.

I once chopped of several elves limbs, and then proceeded to throw the limbs at other passing elvesd, and then at their owners.

Just today the life of my greatest adventurer ever ended. This guy was truly hardcore. A dwarven wrestler with the title "the wings of fury". He was so hardcore in fact, that on one occasion someone exploded in gore after being struck with his trusty weapon - a rope reed loincloth. It ended sadly, however, when surrounded on all sides, he was wrestled to the ground and shot through the lungs and heart with a crossbow. This wasn't it, however. Dying from a mortal wound, with his final effort he bit off the hand of a merchant prince, who later bled to death.

I played a human adventurer - one that just loved goblins. But as she arrived at a goblin tower (I forgot the name) attacks commenced. Three GCS were actually attacking the tower. (Two of them out of my sight. So my adventurer first stayed at a distance, when a goblin spear(wo)man was attacked by one of them. In some crazy bloodlust I charged the beast, while it tore off the goblin's bodyparts. I got two or three blows in, when it decided to be finished with it's pray (whom later bled to death, surrounded by her own limbs), and to charge me. I naturally ran away, but she caught me up in her webs.

In a desperate attempt to save my life I picked up a pebble and threw it at the spider.

The spinning .... pebble hits the GCS in the abdomen.
The abdomen explodes into gore.
The GCS has been struck down!

How lucky is that?
