Crank caves up to the max, embark with 6 military dwarves and one miner/farmer and get to work evicting those animal-men from my mountainhome.

After that, I'll build a maimer and train up a surgeon, just for fun.

Then play around with arena mode. Maybe see how powerful those megabeasts are now (reading dev_now, sounds like they're back to their 2d glory).

Then rig up a mechanism to flood the underground with magma, just to see if it can be done. I hope Toady put in safeguards, it would be lame if you could just fry everything down there with a puny magma-trap.

Then get to work enjoying the new stuff. Going to try very hard not to spoil the new version by reading the wiki so much, by the time I encountered anything dangerous I knew what it was and at least 6 basic strategies for beating it.

Afterwards, if Blakmane doesn't update his Dark Dwarves mod I'll start updating it, this time done right with the new workshops. There's just something not right about working magic at a smelter, sacrificing elf body parts on an Altar to Armok sounds way better.

I'll actually start another fortress.

Been playing a succession game right now, and even though it's taking forever, I don't want to burn out. I had an 8 year fortress I was playing solo, but had to reformat and lost it. Since then I've just decided to wait until the new version to start a solo fortress. Only been playing for a couple months, but I've easily put 100 hours into DF already...and don't want to have to shut down an old fortress mid-play when the release hits.

I am going to dig for FUN in my current fortress and only download the new version when all my dwarves are no longer. I hope my military of ~150 dwarves isn't to strong.

I'm going to see if I can use a swordsdwarf to harvest the muscle tissue from my enemies  for use in making rope for killing elves.

Edit the INIT.txt files to show all features then find the new HFS.
